TITLE: Sr. Staff Engineer – Memory / Systems Software (Linux & Kubernetes)

RATE: $75 per hour on W2 (Without Benefits)

JOB DESCRIPTION

Seeking a hands-on systems engineer to build software across Linux kernel, node-level services, and Kubernetes control plane, with strong focus on memory and resource management.

Key Responsibilities

• Architect and build end-to-end systems software across Linux and Kubernetes
• Work across kernel, user-space, container runtime, and Kubernetes layers
• Develop resource lifecycle management (discovery, allocation, resize, rollback, reconciliation)
• Build Kubernetes controllers/operators (Go, client-go, controller-runtime)
• Implement node-level agents and kubelet/CRI integrations
• Work on memory lifecycle, NUMA, cgroups, device/resource management
• Design for distributed systems reliability (idempotency, concurrency, fault recovery)

Must Have

• Strong Linux systems / kernel-level expertise
• Deep knowledge of Kubernetes internals (kubelet, CRI, controllers/operators)
• Strong Go (Golang) programming
• Experience with container runtimes (containerd/CRI-O)
