Life at Axon is fast-paced, challenging, and meaningful. Here, you'll take ownership and drive real change. Constantly grow as you work hard for a mission that matters at a company where you matter.
Your Impact
As Axon's Senior D365 F&O Solutions Analyst, you will be the connective tissue between our enterprise systems, financial operations, and the next generation of AI-powered automation. You'll leverage Microsoft Dynamics 365 F&O to drive supply chain excellence while bringing deep finance and accounting knowledge to optimize end-to-end business processes. This role is for someone who doesn't just use technology — they push it forward, actively deploying AI agents, Power Platform solutions, and MCP integrations to multiply the impact of every process they touch. If you're excited by the idea of building agentic workflows that help Axon's mission scale, this is your seat at the table.
What You'll Do
Location: 4 days in the office (Tuesday-Friday) Hybrid from Axon HQ locations - Scottsdale, Seattle, Boston, Atlanta, and New York.
Reports to: Director, D365 Enterprise Applications
Direct Reports: None (Individual Contributor with strong cross-functional influence)
- Own and optimize D365 F&O modules spanning Supply Chain Management (procurement, inventory, warehouse management, supply planning) and Finance (general ledger, accounts payable/receivable, fixed assets, cost accounting) — ensuring system configuration aligns with evolving business needs and financial controls.
- Drive AI-first process improvement by designing and deploying agentic workflows using Microsoft Copilot Studio, Power Automate, and MCP integrations that reduce manual effort across finance and supply chain operations.
- Partner with Finance leadership to ensure accurate financial reporting, month-end close support, cost variance analysis, and compliance with GAAP — translating accounting requirements into D365 configurations and automation solutions.
- Build and maintain Power Platform solutions (Power Apps, Power Automate, Power BI) that surface real-time supply chain and financial KPIs to business stakeholders, enabling data-driven decisions at every level.
- Lead cross-functional discovery and requirements gathering with Finance, Operations, Procurement, and IT teams — translating business needs into functional D365 specifications, user stories, and solution designs.
- Implement and manage agentic AI experiences — using tools such as Azure AI Foundry, Copilot Studio, or third-party LLM integrations via MCP.
- Serve as a subject matter expert on D365 F&O data models, supporting integrations with external systems (EDI, Salesforce, etc.) and ensuring data integrity across the enterprise technology stack.
- Champion a culture of continuous improvement and AI literacy within the Finance and Supply Chain teams — conducting enablement sessions, documenting processes, and identifying the next wave of automation opportunities.
- Support system upgrades, new module rollouts, and D365 release wave evaluations — assessing impact, coordinating testing, and communicating changes to business users.
What You Bring
- 7+ years of hands-on experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 F&O in a functional or techno-functional capacity, with deep expertise in: Supply Chain Management, Procurement & Sourcing, Inventory Management, Finance/GL, or Cost Accounting.
- Solid foundation in Finance & Accounting principles — you can hold your own in a conversation about month-end close, cost variance, AP/AR workflows, or financial controls, and you understand how those requirements translate into D365 configuration.
- Demonstrated experience building agentic or AI-powered solutions — whether through Microsoft Copilot Studio, Power Automate with AI Builder, Azure AI services, LLM integrations via MCP, or equivalent platforms. You actively use AI in your day-to-day work, not just talk about it.
- Proficiency in the Microsoft Power Platform (Power Apps, Power Automate, Power BI) with a track record of delivering production solutions that solved real business problems.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills — able to diagnose process gaps, design elegant solutions, and communicate trade-offs clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Experience working in a fast-paced, high-growth technology or manufacturing environment, ideally supporting global finance or supply chain operations.
- Bonus: Familiarity with D365 F&O technical concepts (X++ basics, data entities, LCS, Azure DevOps ALM), or experience integrating D365 with MCP-enabled AI agents or external LLM tooling.

How do I get a solutions analyst job in Atlanta?
Target Atlanta's densest hiring sectors: financial services firms in Buckhead, health IT companies anchored around Midtown and the Emory corridor, and enterprise tech employers in the Cumberland/Galleria area. Candidates who combine business analysis skills with ERP, CRM, or cloud platform experience stand out in this market. Networking through Atlanta's active Salesforce and SAP user groups also gives local candidates a measurable edge over out-of-market applicants.
Which companies hire solutions analysts in Atlanta?

Atlanta's mix of Fortune 500 headquarters, regional bank and insurance carriers, and a large managed-services provider ecosystem means openings appear across a wide range of employer sizes and industries.
Are there remote solutions analyst jobs in Atlanta?
Yes, though availability depends heavily on the role type. Solutions analysts focused on data analysis, configuration, and requirements documentation tend to work remotely, while implementation and on-site client-facing roles typically require in-person presence. About 18% of solutions analyst openings tied to Atlanta are remote or hybrid as of June 2026. Hybrid arrangements are most common among Atlanta's large enterprise software and financial services employers.
How can I get a solutions analyst job in Atlanta with little or no experience?
The most realistic entry path in Atlanta is landing a junior business analyst or IT analyst role at one of the city's many managed-services or consulting firms, which hire regularly at the associate level and provide cross-industry exposure fast. Atlanta's large healthcare IT sector, centered around employers near Midtown and the Northside hospital corridor, also hires entry-level analysts with strong Excel and process-mapping fundamentals. A Salesforce Administrator or ServiceNow certification noticeably strengthens entry-level applications in this market.
