Boeing Global Services (BGS) is seeking an Experienced Support Engineering Data Specialist for Oklahoma City, OK
In this role, the selected Experienced Support Engineering Data Specialist will develop, analyze, collect, and store various systems supporting technical data elements and specifications to evaluate and make recommendations. You will also make recommendations on product supportability and establish operation maintenance tasks, resources, and support systems to achieve supportability requirements for multiple equipment subsystems. This role will identify and analyze logistics support candidates from product definition and develop logistics support analysis records and reports. This Specialist will also determine spares provisioning requirements for spare and replacement parts, levels, and stocking for multiple customers under a single contract type, as well as prepare and maintain technical documentation for operating, testing, and maintaining aircraft systems components. This position reviews and evaluates aircraft and/or fleet operational performance, reliability, and availability for a single airline customer, aircraft type and system specialty.
The selected candidate will be required to work 100% onsite at the Oklahoma City, OK facility.
Position Responsibilities:
Estimates the impact on various proposals or changes to the publication elements.
Develops multiple technical publication elements for all levels of maintenance for a fielded equipment minor system or multiple subsystems including but not limited to, theory of operations, testing and troubleshooting procedures, removal and installation procedures and schematic diagrams.
Develops draft illustrations or provides art mark-ups.
Updates publication elements based on internal/external reviews, source data changes and equipment modifications.
Collects, researches and analyzes various types of source data to include equipment requirements, maintenance concepts, task analysis documentations, workflows and concept of design to determine impact to technical publications.
Identifies source data inaccuracies and takes corrective action.
Validates source data based on predefined and developed assumptions.
Performs quality self-check and participates in peer reviews of completed publication elements for overall technical accuracy and customers format standards/specifications.
Supports customer verification reviews and takes corrective action based on outcome.
Analyzes technical requirements to determine project scope and deliverables.
Estimates the impact of the proposal or changes to the publication elements.
Participate in customer technical and program reviews.
Resolves identified discrepancies.
This position requires the ability to obtain an active U.S. Security Clearance. A final U.S. Secret Clearance Pre-Start is required.
Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
3+ years of experience with Commercial Derivative/Military aircraft maintenance.
3+ years of experience with experience with the use, management or writing of technical publications.
Experience using Microsoft Office Products like Outlook, Power Point, Excel, and Word.
3+ years’ experience with Standards editing and publishing systems.
Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
Jet Engine, Hydraulic, Electrical and Environmental experience,
Ability to review and interpret Engineering and Supplier Source Data for Technical Order impacts.
Experience using Adobe.
Experience using Acrobat.
