We are looking for individuals with a Forward Deployed Engineer (FDE) mindset who embed directly within customer environments, understand business challenges, navigate existing architectures, and independently deliver scalable AI-driven solutions.
Work Type: Hybrid – Onsite 4 days per week, Remote Fridays
Work Schedule: 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM PT
Responsibilities
- Design and deploy AI-powered applications and enterprise solutions using Python, JavaScript, AWS, and Databricks.
- Work directly with customer engineering teams to understand business requirements and deliver solutions in real time.
- Translate business challenges into scalable technical architectures leveraging major cloud platforms.
- Build intelligent workflows and applications using Generative AI, LLMs, LangChain, RAG, and AI agents.
- Develop data-driven backend solutions using Databricks, Apache Spark, and SQL.
- Build full-stack applications, APIs, and microservices using React, Node.js, FastAPI, or Django.
- Independently navigate technical ambiguity and drive solutions to completion.
- Communicate project progress effectively to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
REQUIREMENTS
- Strong professional experience in AI engineering, solution architecture, or full-stack development.
- Hands-on programming expertise in Python or JavaScript/TypeScript.
- Proven experience in customer-facing engineering roles, such as a Forward Deployed Engineer or Solutions Engineer.
- Solid understanding of software architecture, APIs, microservices, and system integration.
- Experience with cloud platforms, particularly AWS (Bedrock, SageMaker) and cloud-native deployments.
- Familiarity with modern AI frameworks including LLMs, LangChain, RAG, and AI agents.
- Experience with data platforms like Databricks, Apache Spark, and SQL.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work independently in ambiguous environments.
