INTRODUCTION
Position Name: Supply Chain Planner
LOCATION
Location: Raritan, NJ
Responsibilities
- Significantly align with Make, Supply Planning / Purchasing to ensure capacity is appropriately utilized for planning and scheduling functions
- Significantly align with all business partners (Finance, DELIVER, Make, External Operations, Marketing, R&D, Source/Procurement, etc.) to ensure alignment and agreement on upcoming changes
- Support the Sales & Operations Planning process
- Drive Scenario Planning process, with capacity bottleneck identification where appropriate
- Ensure appropriate available capacities to meet timelines and volume requirements
- Identify and pro-actively mitigate risks throughout the entire supply chain
- Drive improvements in Global Supply Chain Projects processes
- Provide input for Global Supply Chain strategy across projects and platforms
- Develop launch plans with key stakeholders and prepare for operational launch readiness
- Provide strong connectivity with existing supply chain processes – GOALS, S&OP, Inventory Management, interdependent projects
- Work directly with key business partners to ensure strong working relationships and processes, resulting in achievement of Operations objectives
- Ensure activities performed are compliant with the Ethicon Quality System
- Support demand, supply and inventory strategies to create robust, efficient and compliant end-to-end supply chains for new products
- Develop an organization capable to meet a dynamic business environment, recruit and maintain high performing associates
- Responsible for managing and meeting all supply chain deliverables on assigned projects focused on Labeling initiatives, Product Conversions, Supply Chain Business Process and System improvements
- Deliver and manage global end-to-end planning and supply chain effectiveness and efficiency
- Coach, train and mentor Supply Chain PLAN Project Specialists and support Supply Chain PLAN Project Leaders
- Support interviewing and recruiting, onboarding and talent development for the department
- For assigned direct reports, drive the 5 conversations, provide frequent feedback, identify developmental goals and engage in succession planning conversations
- Backfill Supply Chain Manager Projects and act as a program manager for the various projects assigned to the European PLAN Projects Team
- Proxy & deputy and representative for the PLAN Projects team
- Assist and provide guidance in project prioritization and resource assignment to the various projects that are impacting the supply chain
- Responsible for communicating business related issues or opportunities to next management level
- Equipment Validation Plan update/review for Medical
