About Formlabs:
Do you want to change how the world creates?
At Formlabs, we're building the tools that make it possible for anyone to bring their ideas to life, from cutting-edge products to life-saving medical devices. Our 3D printing technology powers innovation at more than 50,000 industry leaders worldwide, including Apple, Google, Tesla, New Balance, and NASA. Together, we're helping everyone design, prototype, and manufacture faster than ever before.
We're a team of hands-on builders, engineers, and innovators reinventing how the world makes physical things. If you're ready to shape the future of fabrication, come build it with us.
Your Impact:
Formlabs already has a substantial business selling 3D printers and resins to dental customers, who use our products for a wide spectrum of applications, from convenient in-office production of splints to sophisticated lab-based orthodontics.
This role involves supporting all parts of the product development cycle from early R+D to continuing engineering for shipped products. In addition, you'll collaborate closely with design teams to overcome cross-disciplinary problems and ensure that we ship quality products. If you're eager to collaborate with other Systems Integration Engineers to support the full range of Formlabs products, we want you as a Robotic Systems Integration Engineer.

- Partner with system architect to create and document visual descriptions of systems and subsystems and their inputs and outputs.
- Establish the interfaces between the sub-systems, define/refine control algorithms or even design sub-systems that are electro-mechanical in nature.
- Take ownership of managing sub-system/system level requirements and track changes.
- Design test plans to validate the requirements of subsystems/entire system, execute the tests and analyze the results.
- Resolve systems issues to improve their performance or recommend corrective actions to the functional group.
You:
- Have previous experience designing complex electro-mechanical systems.
- Knowledge of motion control, sensors and control algorithms.
- Experience managing system and subsystem requirements.
- Well versed in hardware debugging and passionate about understanding why things work (or don't)
- Scripting experience with Python (preferred), Labview, Matlab, etc.
Bonus Skills:
- Familiarity with low-level embedded firmware (C++ prefer)
- Experience in data analysis and reporting
- Experience with consumer electronics
Our Benefits & Perks:
- Robust equity program to build future wealth through RSUs
- Comprehensive healthcare coverage (Medical, Dental, Vision)
- 401K matching and access to financial advisors

Entry Level Systems Integration Engineer Jobs: Frequently Asked Questions
How do I get an entry level systems integration engineer job?
Entry level systems integration engineer roles look for hands-on experience with hardware-software interfaces, communication protocols, and testing environments. Candidates who stand out typically have completed relevant internships, capstone projects, or coursework in embedded systems, networking, or control systems. Familiarity with tools like LabVIEW, MATLAB, or Python, combined with the ability to read technical specifications and troubleshoot integration issues, gives new applicants a concrete edge.
Which companies hire entry level systems integration engineers?
Companies hiring entry level systems integration engineers right now include Lockheed Martin, BAE Systems USA, and Northrop Grumman, based on current listings on Migrate Mate as of June 2026. Hiring at this level covers defense contractors, aerospace manufacturers, industrial automation firms, and technology companies that build or deploy complex multi-component systems.
Are there remote entry level systems integration engineer jobs?
Yes, though most roles at this level are on-site or hybrid due to the hands-on nature of the work. About 4% of entry level systems integration engineer openings are remote or hybrid as of June 2026, so candidates open to on-site positions will find a broader set of opportunities, particularly in manufacturing, defense, and infrastructure sectors.
Are these new grad systems integration engineer jobs?
Yes, the listings here include new grad, recent graduate, and junior systems integration engineer roles. A posting is typically new-grad friendly when it welcomes zero to two years of experience, accepts internship or co-op work in place of full-time history, or explicitly values a portfolio, senior project, or relevant academic lab work. New grad candidates should look for those signals in the job description.
Which industries hire the most entry level systems integration engineers?
Entry Level systems integration engineer roles concentrate in Technology & Software, Electronics & Hardware, and Consulting & Professional Services, based on current listings on Migrate Mate as of June 2026. These sectors drive entry level hiring because they routinely build or maintain systems that require tight coordination between hardware, software, and external interfaces, creating a steady need for engineers who can learn integration workflows from the ground up.
