Which companies hire tax accountants in Chicago?
Employers hiring tax accountants in Chicago right now include EY, Intuit, and Serrala, based on current listings on Migrate Mate as of July 2026. Chicago's mix of Big Four and mid-market public accounting firms, major financial services companies, and large corporate headquarters creates steady, diverse hiring across both public practice and in-house tax roles.

Compliance, research, and return preparation roles tend to offer the most remote flexibility in the Chicago market.

The most realistic entry path in Chicago is landing a staff tax or tax associate role at a mid-market or regional accounting firm in the Loop, where firms routinely hire recent graduates and career changers for busy-season support.
