Technical Business Analyst Jobs in New Hampshire: Frequently Asked Questions
How do you become a technical business analyst in New Hampshire?
Most technical business analyst roles in New Hampshire require a bachelor's degree in information systems, computer science, or business, followed by hands-on experience in a related analytical or IT role. There is no state-issued license for this occupation in New Hampshire. Earning a Certified Business Analysis Professional (CBAP) credential or a PMI Professional in Business Analysis (PMI-PBA) certification significantly strengthens a candidate's profile with New Hampshire employers in defense, financial services, and healthcare IT.
How much do technical business analysts make in New Hampshire?
Technical business analysts in New Hampshire earn a median of about $107,670 a year, based on May 2025 Bureau of Labor Statistics wage data, ranging from around $70,470 for the lowest 10% to over $163,010 for the top 10%. Pay rises with experience, specialty, and employer.
Which companies hire technical business analysts in New Hampshire?
Companies currently hiring technical business analysts in New Hampshire include BAE Systems USA, Amphenol, and Connection, per current listings on Migrate Mate as of July 2026. New Hampshire's concentration of defense contractors, regional banks, and large health insurers means demand is broad and not limited to a single industry.
Which New Hampshire cities have the most technical business analyst jobs?
Nashua, Manchester, and Portsmouth lead New Hampshire for technical business analyst openings. Manchester and Nashua drive the largest share of listings because of their density of financial services firms, defense contractors, and healthcare organizations, while Concord's concentration of state government agencies and health insurers supports consistent demand in the capital.
Are there remote technical business analyst jobs in New Hampshire?
Yes, and more than most fields. About 33% of technical business analyst openings tied to New Hampshire are remote or hybrid as of July 2026, reflecting how naturally desk-based and documentation-driven this work is. Requirements gathering, process modeling, and stakeholder workshops are the tasks most commonly conducted remotely, while sprint planning sessions and on-site systems implementations tend to require in-person presence.
How can I get hired as a technical business analyst in New Hampshire with little or no experience?
The most realistic entry path is moving laterally from a role in quality assurance, systems support, or data coordination, areas where New Hampshire employers such as BAE Systems and Fidelity regularly hire associates without a formal BA title. Building a portfolio of process maps, use-case diagrams, or a completed requirements document from a volunteer or academic project signals readiness. Completing an entry-level IIBA certification and targeting junior business systems analyst or business analyst associate postings at New Hampshire financial institutions and healthcare organizations opens the most doors.
Where can I find and apply to technical business analyst jobs in New Hampshire?
You can find and apply to technical business analyst jobs in New Hampshire on Migrate Mate, which lists current openings tied to the state. Search the available roles, identify the ones that match your background and preferences, and apply directly to the positions that fit.
