Technical Solutions Architect Jobs in Nebraska: Frequently Asked Questions
How do you become a technical solutions architect in Nebraska?
Most technical solutions architect roles in Nebraska require a bachelor's degree in computer science, information systems, or engineering, combined with several years of hands-on experience in software development or IT infrastructure. Nebraska does not issue a state-specific license for this role, so employers rely on vendor certifications such as AWS Solutions Architect, Microsoft Azure Architect, or Google Cloud Professional Architect as practical credentials that signal readiness for the position.
How much do technical solutions architects make in Nebraska?
Technical solutions architects in Nebraska earn a median of about $116,420 a year, based on May 2025 Bureau of Labor Statistics wage data, ranging from around $77,570 for the lowest 10% to over $163,200 for the top 10%. Pay rises with experience, specialty, and employer.
Which companies hire technical solutions architects in Nebraska?
Nebraska technical solutions architect roles are posted by CVS Health, Mutual of Omaha, and Orion Advisor Technology and others right now, based on current listings on Migrate Mate as of July 2026. Nebraska's concentration of insurance, financial services, and logistics headquarters in Omaha creates particularly consistent demand from large enterprise employers who maintain ongoing architecture teams.
Which Nebraska cities have the most technical solutions architect jobs?
Omaha, Nebraska, and Lincoln account for the largest share of technical solutions architect openings in Nebraska. Omaha drives the bulk of demand through its density of corporate headquarters in financial services, logistics, and healthcare technology, while Lincoln's government agencies and university-affiliated technology operations generate a secondary concentration of architect roles.
Are there remote technical solutions architect jobs in Nebraska?
Yes, and more than most fields. About 80% of technical solutions architect openings tied to Nebraska are remote or hybrid as of July 2026, reflecting how well the role translates to distributed work. Architecture and design work, stakeholder discovery sessions, and documentation are especially well suited to remote formats, though roles involving hands-on infrastructure deployment or client-site work tend to require a physical presence.
How can I get hired as a technical solutions architect in Nebraska with little or no experience?
The most realistic entry path is through a systems analyst, software developer, or cloud engineer role at a large Nebraska employer, then moving into architecture as you take on design responsibilities. Companies like Mutual of Omaha and Union Pacific hire associate or junior technical roles that can transition into architect tracks over time. Earning a recognized cloud certification before applying signals architectural readiness and gives candidates a concrete credential to point to when experience is still limited.
Where can I find and apply to technical solutions architect jobs in Nebraska?
You can find and apply to technical solutions architect jobs in Nebraska on Migrate Mate, which lists current Nebraska openings in one place. Search the available roles, identify the ones that fit your background and location preferences, and apply directly to the ones that match.
