Technical Solutions Engineer Jobs in Los Angeles: Frequently Asked Questions
How do I get a technical solutions engineer job in Los Angeles?
The strongest path into this role in Los Angeles runs through the enterprise software, cloud services, and entertainment technology sectors that dominate local hiring. Concentrations of technical solutions engineer roles sit in Silicon Beach, Playa Vista, and Downtown LA, where SaaS companies, streaming platforms, and professional services firms cluster. Candidates who combine pre-sales or customer-facing technical experience with familiarity in cloud platforms or API integrations consistently stand out in the LA market.
Which companies hire technical solutions engineers in Los Angeles?
Employers hiring technical solutions engineers in Los Angeles right now include Deloitte, Stantec, and Harley Ellis Devereaux, based on current listings on Migrate Mate as of June 2026. Los Angeles attracts a mix of global technology firms, venture-backed SaaS startups, and large media and entertainment companies that rely heavily on technical solutions engineering talent to support complex client deployments.
Are there remote technical solutions engineer jobs in Los Angeles?
Yes, though availability depends on how client-facing the role is, since positions requiring on-site demos or implementation support tend to stay in-person. How can I get a technical solutions engineer job in Los Angeles with little or no experience?
The most realistic entry point in Los Angeles is a sales engineering associate or technical support engineer role at one of the many mid-size SaaS or cloud companies based in Playa Vista or Culver City, which regularly hire candidates coming from help desk, IT support, or developer relations backgrounds. Hands-on familiarity with CRM platforms, REST APIs, or cloud infrastructure tools gives candidates a concrete edge when competing for junior-level openings at LA's growing roster of B2B software firms.
