Get Access To All JobsTips for Finding TN Visa Sponsorship as a B2b Marketing Manager
Frame your credentials around management consulting
TN classification for this role depends on fitting the Management Consultant category, not a generic marketing title. Prepare a credential package that maps your degree and experience directly to strategic business advisory functions, not campaign execution.
Target companies with recent visa filings
Search for employers with recent visa filings to identify companies experienced with work visa sponsorship for marketing strategy roles. These employers already understand the sponsorship process and are less likely to withdraw offers over paperwork concerns.
Get your job offer letter TN-ready before the border
Canadian citizens present TN documentation at the port of entry, so your offer letter must specify your title, duties, and that the role requires a relevant bachelor's degree. A vague letter is one of the most common reasons CBP officers request clarification.
Use Migrate Mate to find verified sponsoring employers
Searching broadly for B2B marketing roles wastes time on employers unfamiliar with TN sponsorship. Migrate Mate filters specifically for companies with active TN and work visa sponsorship history, so your applications go to employers already set up to hire you.
Clarify your work authorization needs with your employer early
For TN visa positions, your employer will prepare a support letter documenting your qualifications and job details. Before you give notice at your current job, confirm with HR that your salary aligns with market rates for B2B Marketing Manager roles in your location—this helps ensure a smooth TN petition at the port of entry or consulate without last-minute offer changes.
Prepare for Canadian re-entry after a role change
TN status is employer-specific, so switching companies requires a new TN approval. Canadians can re-enter at the border with the new employer's documentation, but you cannot start the new role until CBP grants the updated status. Time your resignation accordingly.

Find B2b Marketing Manager JobsB2b Marketing Manager TN Visa: Frequently Asked Questions
Does a B2B Marketing Manager role actually qualify for a TN visa?
It depends on how the role is structured. TN classification uses the Management Consultant category, which requires duties focused on analyzing business problems and recommending strategic solutions. A role centered on campaign management or brand execution is harder to classify. Roles emphasizing client acquisition strategy, market entry planning, or go-to-market advisory functions align more clearly with the Management Consultant definition CBP uses.
How does TN visa sponsorship compare to H-1B for this role?
TN has no annual lottery and no cap for Canadian citizens, so you can start as soon as CBP approves your application at the port of entry. H-1B requires entering a competitive annual lottery with no guarantee of selection. For B2B Marketing Manager roles that meet the Management Consultant criteria, TN is a faster and more predictable path than waiting for an H-1B slot.
What documents does my employer need to provide for TN sponsorship?
Your employer must provide a signed offer letter that specifies your job title, a description of your duties, your qualifications, your start date, and confirmation that the position requires a relevant bachelor's degree. For Mexican citizens, the employer prepares a support letter and you apply at a U.S. consulate with your documentation. Canadian citizens present these documents directly at the border without advance filing.
Where can I find B2B Marketing Manager jobs with TN visa sponsorship?
Migrate Mate is built specifically for this search. It surfaces B2B Marketing Manager roles at employers with confirmed TN and work visa sponsorship history, so you're not filtering through hundreds of postings from companies that have never sponsored a visa. Targeting employers with a track record of TN sponsorship significantly shortens the time between application and offer.
Can I switch B2B Marketing Manager jobs while on a TN visa?
Yes, but your TN status is tied to your current employer. You cannot begin working for a new company until you obtain a new TN approval. Canadians can get a new TN at the border with updated documentation from the new employer. Mexican citizens must apply at a U.S. consulate. Plan your transition so there's no gap where you're working without valid TN status for the new employer.
