Get Access To All JobsTips for Finding TN Visa Sponsorship as a Digital Marketing Associate
Match your degree to your exact duties
TN officers assess whether your marketing degree directly supports the specific role. If your title says 'digital marketing' but your degree is in communications, prepare a detailed duties letter showing the technical overlap between your credentials and the work.
Target employers experienced with visa sponsorship
Look for employers who have recent visa sponsorship experience with similar professional roles. Companies experienced with visa filings are more likely to understand the documentation requirements and be prepared to support your TN application at the port of entry (for Canadians) or U.S. consulate (for Mexicans).
Get your support letter before accepting any offer
Your employer's support letter must detail your specific duties, confirm your degree requirement, and identify the TN category. Request a draft before signing anything. A vague letter is the most common reason Canadian professionals get delayed at the port of entry.
Use Migrate Mate to find sponsoring employers fast
Filtering for TN-eligible digital marketing roles takes time when done manually. Migrate Mate surfaces employers actively offering TN visa sponsorship for marketing positions, so you spend less time cold-applying to companies unfamiliar with the process.
Clarify your TN category with occupation-specific job duties
Employer support letters should clearly match your Digital Marketing Associate duties to an approved TN occupational category. Review the Standard Occupational Classification description for your role and ask your employer to reference similar language in their letter—this alignment strengthens your case when presenting at the port of entry or consulate.
Prepare for CBP questions about third-party client work
If your role involves managing campaigns for multiple clients, CBP officers may ask whether you're in a consulting arrangement. Have written confirmation from your employer that you're a direct employee, not an independent contractor placed at client sites.

Find Digital Marketing Associate JobsDigital Marketing Associate TN Visa: Frequently Asked Questions
Does a Digital Marketing Associate role qualify for a TN visa?
It can, but category fit depends on your exact duties and degree. Digital marketing roles most often qualify under the Management Consultant category when the work involves strategic analysis and recommendations, or under Computer Systems Analyst when duties center on marketing technology platforms. Your employer's support letter must map your daily responsibilities to one of these approved TN occupations.
How does the TN visa compare to the H-1B for Digital Marketing Associate roles?
The TN visa has no lottery and no annual cap for Canadian citizens, so you can apply at a port of entry and get a decision the same day. The H-1B requires entering a lottery with roughly a 25% selection rate and a filing window that opens once a year. For Canadians with a qualifying marketing degree and a U.S. job offer, TN is a faster and more predictable path than H-1B.
Can Mexican citizens get TN sponsorship for Digital Marketing Associate jobs?
Yes, but the process differs from the Canadian route. Mexican TN applicants must schedule a consular interview at a U.S. embassy or consulate rather than applying at the border. Appointment availability varies by location and time of year, so Mexican professionals should factor consular wait times into their start date negotiations with employers.
What documents does my employer need to provide for TN sponsorship?
Your employer must provide a support letter on company letterhead that states your job title, a detailed description of your duties, the TN category being claimed, your start date, your compensation structure, and confirmation that a U.S. bachelor's degree or equivalent is required for the role. Vague or generic letters are a leading cause of delays at the border or consulate.
How do I find Digital Marketing Associate jobs that offer TN visa sponsorship?
Most general job boards don't filter by TN visa sponsorship specifically, which makes the search inefficient. Migrate Mate is built for Canadian and Mexican professionals looking for U.S. roles that include TN sponsorship, letting you search digital marketing positions where employers already understand and support the TN process, without having to screen each posting manually.
