SUMMARY
Drive accuracy, compliance, and performance across trade programs that support key business initiatives. In this role as a Trade Promotions Analyst Lead, you will analyze trade activity to ensure alignment with audit requirements while managing broker setup, reviewing contracts, and executing data processes within Trade Promotion systems, as well as reconciling tonnage and analytics to support trade payment calculations and ensuring timely, accurate processing of payments and charge backs in accordance with established guidelines. You will partner closely with cross functional teams to provide insights through customer statements, data analysis, and reporting tools while supporting special projects that enhance visibility and decision making. This role is ideal for a detail oriented, analytical professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment, excels at working with data and systems, and is motivated by ensuring accuracy, compliance, and operational efficiency.
This position has a target wage of $23.00 - $34.25 per hour, based on shift, experience and qualifications with annual bonus available (variable depending on performance). Overtime may be available.

PRINCIPAL ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
- Review, analyze, and input trade promotional/brokerage programs.
- Programs are to be reviewed for compliance to audit findings, entered and approved before the effective date.
- Reconcile monthly/quarterly sales activity to payment creation within trade promotional/brokerage system.
- Trade promotional and brokerage checks are to be processed within 30 days of quarter-end.
- Receive, analyze, and create weekly claims payments.
- Ensure that claims are processed against the proper program, customer and product line for accurate financial reporting.
- Communicate to the financial community any program spending more than accrued balances.
- Review, analyze, code and process customer charge back(deductions) against the proper program, customer and product line.
- Provides management updates on outstanding, unresolved chargebacks.
- Communicate to the financial community about any program spending more than accrued.
- Support Sales Management, O/S Regional, and Category Managers with trade/brokerage program analysis.
- Support the Trade Promotions Manager through special project analysis and operates as a lead when the Trade Promotions Manager is unavailable.
- Handle other projects and requests as directed by Leadership.
MINIMUM EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or Business Management.
0 - 2 years related work experience.
Requires a good knowledge and understanding of Company’s customers within assigned area.
Possesses sound business and consumer products industry experience.
Must be well organized and able to analyze, coordinate and communicate with multiple groups and departments.
Possesses a strong knowledge and understanding of the Company’s Order through Cash and Supply Chain process.
PREFERRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
Knowledge and understanding of Company’s Order through Cash and Supply Chain process desired.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS AND ENVIRONMENTAL FACTORS
Position is mostly sedentary but may require occasional moving to other offices or buildings.
May need to move light equipment or supplies from one place to another, at least 40 lbs.
May need to access files, supplies and equipment.
Work activity is in an office, open-partitioned, cubicle environment.
