Entry Level Urologist Jobs: Frequently Asked Questions
How do I get an entry level urologist job?
Start by completing your residency training and securing board certification or eligibility, since most entry level urologist positions require this foundation. Highlight any fellowship training, clinical rotations, or procedural experience in your application materials. Demonstrating comfort with endoscopic procedures and robotic-assisted surgery gives candidates a real edge at this stage, as does a willingness to join a group practice or hospital system.
Which companies hire entry level urologists?
Companies hiring entry level urologists right now include OneOncology, CommonSpirit Health, and OSF HealthCare, based on current listings on Migrate Mate as of August 2026. Hiring at this level tends to come from hospital systems, multi-specialty group practices, and academic medical centers that bring on junior physicians to build out their urology departments.
Are there remote entry level urologist jobs?
Yes, though urology is a primarily hands-on clinical specialty so fully remote roles are rare. About 0% of entry level urologist openings are remote or hybrid as of August 2026, and those positions typically involve telehealth consultations or follow-up care rather than surgical or procedural work.
Are these new grad urologist jobs?
Yes, many of these listings are new grad roles that welcome recent graduates, junior candidates, and physicians completing residency. A new grad friendly posting typically notes that it accepts zero to two years of post-training experience, values residency or fellowship work in lieu of independent practice history, and does not require an established patient panel.
Which industries hire the most entry level urologists?
Entry Level urologist roles concentrate in Healthcare & Medical Services, Education, and Non-Profit & Social Services, based on current listings on Migrate Mate as of August 2026. Those sectors drive entry level hiring because they have the patient volume and clinical infrastructure needed to support junior urologists building independent practice skills.
