Entry Level Vendor Risk Management Jobs: Frequently Asked Questions
How do I get an entry level vendor risk management job?
Focus on building familiarity with third-party risk frameworks, contract review basics, and compliance fundamentals. Coursework in risk management, finance, or business gives you a foundation, and any internship or project involving vendor assessments or procurement strengthens your application. Certifications like the Certified Third-Party Risk Professional are not required at entry level but signal commitment. Tailor your resume to each posting and highlight any analytical or data-organization experience.
Which companies hire entry level vendor risk managements?
Companies hiring entry level vendor risk managements right now include MTM Health, Amazon, and New York City Department of Small Business Services, based on current listings on Migrate Mate as of July 2026. Financial services firms, healthcare organizations, and large technology companies tend to hire at this level most consistently, as their compliance and procurement teams regularly need junior analysts to support vendor screening and due-diligence workflows.
Are there remote entry level vendor risk management jobs?
Yes, though availability varies by employer and team structure. About 40% of entry level vendor risk management openings are remote or hybrid as of July 2026, reflecting the desk-based nature of much of this work. Fully remote roles at the entry level are less common than hybrid arrangements, so filtering by work setting when you search helps you focus on postings that match your preference.
Are these new grad vendor risk management jobs?
Yes. Many of the roles listed here are new grad and junior positions that explicitly welcome recent graduates with zero to two years of experience, or candidates whose background includes internships, academic projects, or transferable analytical work. A new-grad-friendly posting typically omits lengthy experience requirements, mentions training or mentorship, and treats a relevant degree or certification as sufficient qualification to apply.
Which industries hire the most entry level vendor risk managements?
Entry Level vendor risk management roles concentrate in Banking & Financial Services, Technology & Software, and Retail, based on current listings on Migrate Mate as of July 2026. Those sectors drive entry level hiring because they operate complex supplier and partner networks subject to regulatory oversight, creating ongoing demand for junior analysts who can support vendor due diligence, risk scoring, and documentation under more senior supervision.
