Key Duties
- Execute all necessary preventive, predictive, and reactive maintenance tasks on our production machinery.
- Identify and resolve malfunctions across mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems to keep the line moving.
- Utilize technical documentation, electrical meters, and systematic diagnostic methods to pinpoint equipment faults.
- Replace or repair essential components including gearboxes, motors, conveyors, valves, pumps, chains, belts, and power transmission parts.
- Assist in the identification of automation errors by troubleshooting PLC-driven systems.
- Help ensure the successful installation, alignment, and startup of new manufacturing machinery.
- Conduct thorough equipment checks to help prevent unexpected downtime by catching issues early.
- Perform rapid emergency repairs to ensure production interruptions are kept to an absolute minimum.
- Document all maintenance activities and finalize work orders within our CMMS platform.
- Interpret complex mechanical drawings, electrical diagrams, blueprints, and equipment guides.
- Contribute to reliability and safety improvements to help the entire team achieve greater operational efficiency.
- Uphold a tidy and secure workspace by strictly adhering to all LOTO and OSHA safety protocols.
- Work alongside Quality, Engineering, and Production departments to solve equipment challenges and optimize manufacturing workflows.
Requirements
- Completion of a GED or High School Diploma is mandatory.
- A technical certification or specialized industrial maintenance training is highly desired.
- Minimum of three years of hands-on experience maintaining industrial equipment in a manufacturing setting.
- Demonstrated proficiency in diagnosing and fixing complex electrical and mechanical systems.
- Prior experience working with structured preventive maintenance schedules.
- Proven ability to interpret technical manuals, electrical schematics, and blueprints.
- Proficiency in operating diagnostic tools, precision instruments, and various power or hand tools.
- Capacity to manage competing priorities autonomously within a high-speed manufacturing atmosphere.
