Our team is made up of individuals who strive to do their best, help each other, and thrive in a competitive, high-energy environment.

Which companies sponsor visas for stage managers in Delaware?
The most active sponsors for stage managers in Delaware tend to be established performing arts organizations and regional theater companies. The Grand Opera House and Delaware Theatre Company have histories of working with international talent. Larger production companies and university-affiliated venues occasionally sponsor as well, particularly when filling specialized roles that require demonstrable expertise not readily available in the local labor market.
Which visa types are most common for stage manager roles in Delaware?
The H-1B visa is the most commonly pursued visa for stage managers in Delaware, though it requires demonstrating that the role qualifies as a specialty occupation, which can be challenging for some production contexts. The O-1B visa is a strong alternative for stage managers with an established record of extraordinary achievement in theater or live events. Some roles at nonprofits may also explore P visa classifications depending on the nature of the engagement.
How to find stage manager visa sponsorship jobs in Delaware?
Migrate Mate is the most focused option for international candidates looking for stage manager visa sponsorship jobs in Delaware specifically. The platform filters by role and state, so you can see which Delaware employers are actively open to sponsoring, rather than sorting through listings that don't address visa status at all. Searching with Migrate Mate saves time compared to general job browsing that rarely surfaces sponsorship intent upfront.
Which cities in Delaware have the most stage manager sponsorship jobs?
Wilmington is Delaware's primary hub for stage manager opportunities, home to the state's largest performing arts venues and most of its professional theater infrastructure. Dover sees occasional production work tied to state events and smaller venues. Newark, home to the University of Delaware, generates some stage management activity through its professional theater programs, which can connect international candidates with university-affiliated employers open to sponsorship.
Are there state-specific considerations for stage managers seeking sponsorship in Delaware?
Delaware's small but established arts sector means sponsoring employers are relatively few, so competition for sponsored roles can be concentrated among a handful of organizations. The University of Delaware's professional theater program creates a meaningful pipeline, and candidates with ties to its network may find more direct paths to sponsoring employers. Prevailing wage requirements under H-1B rules apply regardless of state, so employers must meet Department of Labor standards for the Wilmington area when filing.
What is the prevailing wage for sponsored stage manager jobs in Delaware?
U.S. employers sponsoring a visa must pay at least the prevailing wage, which is what workers in the same role, area, and experience level typically earn. The Department of Labor sets this rate to make sure companies aren't hiring foreign workers simply because they'd accept lower pay than a U.S. worker. It varies by job title, location, and experience. You can look up current prevailing wage rates for any occupation and location using the OFLC Wage Search page.
