Which companies sponsor visas for business consultants in Florida?
Large professional services firms are the most consistent sponsors for business consultant roles in Florida. Deloitte, Accenture, KPMG, PwC, and IBM have offices in Miami, Tampa, and Orlando with established visa sponsorship programs. Florida-based regional consulting firms and healthcare consulting companies also sponsor, though their frequency varies. Checking Department of Labor LCA disclosure data confirms which employers have filed for consultant roles in the state.
Which visa types are most common for business consultant roles in Florida?
The H-1B visa is the most common visa category for business consultants in Florida, as the role typically qualifies as a specialty occupation requiring a relevant bachelor's degree or higher. Canadians and Mexicans may qualify for the TN visa under the NAFTA/USMCA professional categories. Consultants with multinational backgrounds transferring within a company may also be eligible for the L-1 visa intracompany transferee visa.
Which cities in Florida have the most business consultant sponsorship jobs?
Miami generates the highest volume of business consultant sponsorship activity in Florida, driven by its role as a hub for Latin American corporate headquarters, international trade firms, and financial services. Tampa follows closely due to its expanding finance, healthcare, and technology consulting sectors. Orlando sees consistent demand from hospitality, tourism management, and theme park operations consulting, making all three cities the primary targets for international candidates.
How to find business consultant visa sponsorship jobs in Florida?
Migrate Mate lets you filter business consultant roles specifically by visa sponsorship and state, making it straightforward to identify Florida employers actively hiring international candidates. Because sponsorship willingness isn't always listed in standard job postings, using a platform built around visa sponsorship saves significant time. Migrate Mate aggregates roles from employers with documented sponsorship histories, so you're not sifting through listings from companies unlikely to support your visa process.
Are there state-specific considerations for business consultants seeking sponsorship in Florida?
Florida has no state income tax, which affects total compensation calculations but does not change federal visa requirements. Business consultants in Florida working with Latin American clients often need bilingual skills, which can strengthen a candidate's profile with Miami-based employers. The state's large healthcare and hospitality industries also create specialized consulting niches where international candidates with sector-specific expertise tend to be more competitive for sponsored roles.
What is the prevailing wage for sponsored business consultant jobs in Florida?
U.S. employers sponsoring a visa must pay at least the prevailing wage, which is what workers in the same role, area, and experience level typically earn. The Department of Labor sets this rate to make sure companies aren't hiring foreign workers simply because they'd accept lower pay than a U.S. worker. It varies by job title, location, and experience. You can look up current prevailing wage rates for any occupation and location using the OFLC Wage Search page.
