Which companies sponsor visas for business systems analysts in Florida?
Large employers with established sponsorship histories in Florida include Cognizant, Deloitte, Accenture, Citigroup, and Raymond James Financial. Healthcare organizations such as AdventHealth and Tampa General Hospital also hire business systems analysts and have sponsored H-1B petitions through the Department of Labor's public LCA disclosure data. Technology consulting firms operating out of Miami and Tampa tend to file the highest volume of sponsorship petitions for this role.
Which visa types are most common for business systems analysis roles in Florida?
The H-1B is the most common visa for business systems analysts in Florida, as the role typically qualifies as a specialty occupation requiring a bachelor's degree in information systems, computer science, or a related field. Australian citizens may qualify for the E-3 visa, which has no lottery and is easier to obtain. TN status is available to Canadian and Mexican nationals with qualifying degrees. L-1B transfers apply when analysts move from an overseas office of the same employer.
How to find business systems analysis visa sponsorship jobs in Florida?
Migrate Mate filters job listings specifically by visa sponsorship availability, so you can search for business systems analysis roles in Florida without sorting through positions that won't support your visa. The platform surfaces openings from employers with active sponsorship track records in cities like Miami, Tampa, and Orlando. Searching by role and state on Migrate Mate helps you prioritize applications toward companies that have sponsored similar analysts before.
Which cities in Florida have the most business systems analysis sponsorship jobs?
Miami leads Florida for business systems analysis sponsorship activity, driven by its financial services and fintech sectors. Tampa is the second most active market, anchored by healthcare IT, insurance, and professional services firms. Orlando has a growing concentration of sponsoring employers in defense contracting, hospitality technology, and simulation. Jacksonville's banking and logistics sectors also generate a smaller but consistent volume of sponsored business analyst roles.
Are there any Florida-specific considerations for business systems analysts seeking visa sponsorship?
Florida has no state income tax, which affects prevailing wage calculations used in the H-1B Labor Condition Application process, since wage floors are benchmarked against local market rates rather than state tax treatment. The University of Florida, University of South Florida, and Florida International University produce large pools of OPT-eligible business systems analysts, meaning employers in the state are accustomed to navigating the transition from OPT to H-1B sponsorship. Competition for sponsored roles is higher in Miami than in mid-sized markets like Jacksonville or Fort Lauderdale.
What is the prevailing wage for sponsored business systems analysis jobs in Florida?
U.S. employers sponsoring a visa must pay at least the prevailing wage, which is what workers in the same role, area, and experience level typically earn. The Department of Labor sets this rate to make sure companies aren't hiring foreign workers simply because they'd accept lower pay than a U.S. worker. It varies by job title, location, and experience. You can look up current prevailing wage rates for any occupation and location using the OFLC Wage Search page.
