Which companies sponsor visas for supply chain associates in Indiana?
Indiana manufacturers and distributors are among the most active sponsors. Eli Lilly, Cummins, Subaru of Indiana Automotive, and Salesforce have documented H-1B sponsorship histories for operations and supply chain roles. Large third-party logistics providers and pharmaceutical manufacturers in the Indianapolis metro and Columbus areas also regularly file labor condition applications for supply chain associate positions.
Which visa types are most common for supply chain associate roles in Indiana?
The H-1B is the most common visa for supply chain associates in Indiana, particularly for roles requiring a bachelor's degree in supply chain management, industrial engineering, or operations research. Candidates with Canadian or Mexican citizenship may qualify for TN visa status under the USMCA in certain technical roles. Some positions involving international coordination may qualify for L-1 visa transfers within multinational companies.
Which cities in Indiana have the most supply chain associate sponsorship jobs?
Indianapolis is Indiana's primary hub for supply chain sponsorship jobs, driven by its pharmaceutical, technology, and distribution sectors. Columbus attracts supply chain talent through Cummins and its supplier network. Lafayette benefits from Subaru of Indiana Automotive and related automotive parts manufacturers. Fort Wayne and Greenfield also have active supply chain hiring tied to advanced manufacturing and life sciences operations.
How to find supply chain associate visa sponsorship jobs in Indiana?
Migrate Mate filters job listings specifically by visa sponsorship availability, making it straightforward to browse supply chain associate openings in Indiana without sorting through roles that don't support international candidates. You can search by location across Indianapolis, Columbus, and Lafayette, and filter to roles where employers have confirmed sponsorship history in operations and supply chain functions.
Are there any Indiana-specific considerations for supply chain associates seeking visa sponsorship?
Indiana's concentration in advanced manufacturing, life sciences, and automotive gives supply chain associates with engineering or operations degrees a strong foothold. Purdue University and Indiana University produce supply chain talent that employers in the state actively recruit, which means some companies already have established pipelines and immigration processes in place. Roles tied to federally regulated industries like pharmaceuticals may involve additional compliance requirements under H-1B prevailing wage rules.
What is the prevailing wage for sponsored supply chain associate jobs in Indiana?
U.S. employers sponsoring a visa must pay at least the prevailing wage, which is what workers in the same role, area, and experience level typically earn. The Department of Labor sets this rate to make sure companies aren't hiring foreign workers simply because they'd accept lower pay than a U.S. worker. It varies by job title, location, and experience. You can look up current prevailing wage rates for any occupation and location using the OFLC Wage Search page.
