- Construct summaries and analyses for monitoring healthcare payments and evaluating medical review activities
- Contribute statistical expertise to research questions related to federal healthcare policies and payments
- Collaborate with a multi-skilled team of analysts and policy experts on project-based work
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- Master’s degree or higher in an analytical field, such as statistics, mathematics, economics, or epidemiology, or similar academic experience
- Proficiency in statistical theory related to statistical sampling, estimation, and hypothesis testing
- Proficiency in Excel
- Proficiency in programming for data analysis in a language such as Python, R, SAS, or STATA
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- 2+ years in data analysis related to Medicare
- Experience applying statistical sampling, estimation, and hypothesis testing (academic research projects considered)
- Data analysis proficiency in Python
- Querying proficiency in SQL

- Eligibility for federal background checks, including residence in the United States for at least 3 years out of the past 5 years
