- Provide individual, group, and family counseling sessions addressing issues such as grief, addiction, PTSD, gender issues, and developmental disabilities.
- Utilize crisis intervention skills to manage acute mental health episodes effectively.
- Document all clinical interactions accurately in compliance with HIPAA regulations and maintain detailed medical records.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to coordinate case management and ensure holistic patient care.
- Engage in ongoing clinical research and data collection to improve therapeutic outcomes.
- Offer specialized support for populations including children, geriatrics, individuals with autism or disabilities, and those experiencing chronic pain or trauma.
- Provide telehealth services to expand access to mental health care across different locations.
Experience
- Proven experience in clinical counseling, behavioral health, or related fields within outpatient or inpatient settings.
- Demonstrated expertise in various therapeutic modalities such as motivational interviewing, social work, special education, and working with people with developmental disabilities.
- Experience working with children, pediatrics, geriatrics, or individuals with autism spectrum disorder is highly desirable.
- Familiarity with crisis management protocols and crisis management tools is essential.
- Prior experience utilizing telehealth platforms is preferred.
- Knowledge of medical documentation standards, medical terminology, ICD coding (ICD-9/ICD-10), CPT coding, and HIPAA compliance is required.
