JOB SUMMARY
The Senior Manager, Product Analyst (FLEX) serves as a strategic connector between business stakeholders, empowered product teams, technology partners, and deployment teams to advance the successful delivery, adoption, and measurable value of enterprise capabilities across Marriott's Global Revenue Strategy (GRS) initiatives. Operating within GRS's Product Operating Model (POM), the role helps agile teams uncover the greatest areas of leverage and measure the value they create.
Today, this role translates business needs into clear requirements, supports solution delivery and deployment, coordinates testing and user acceptance, drives issue resolution, and enables operational readiness across GRS products and platforms. As GRS matures under POM, the role increasingly drives product success by analyzing product, portfolio, and value‑stream performance to inform strategy, prioritization, and investment decisions, defining and evolving outcome‑based metrics (e.g., OKRs, value, flow), building dashboards that surface actionable insight, and measuring adoption and business outcomes rather than output alone.
The Senior Manager supports product discovery and evidence‑based decisioning, surfacing opportunities for experimentation, contributing to testable hypotheses, and helping teams focus on the highest‑value problems. The role partners closely with Product Managers, Business Owners, Technology teams, and Continent stakeholders to document business processes, ensure consistency and quality of product data and definitions, and produce clear, executive‑ready narratives that explain insights, trade‑offs, and implications.
The position requires strong analytical, communication, and problem‑solving skills, along with the ability to navigate complex stakeholder environments, manage competing priorities, and align solutions to business objectives and desired outcomes. It operates flexibly across products, platforms, and transformation initiatives, supporting both strategic and tactical delivery as GRS priorities evolve and the POM scales from baseline to scale to expand.

Which companies sponsor visas for product analysts in Maryland?
Federal contractors and technology firms in Maryland are among the most active sponsors for product analyst roles. Companies like Booz Allen Hamilton, Leidos, Northrop Grumman, and Tenable have a track record of H-1B visa filings for analytical positions. Life sciences employers in the Baltimore area, including those supporting the Johns Hopkins Health System ecosystem, also sponsor product and data analysts with relevant credentials.
Which visa types are most common for product analyst roles in Maryland?
The H-1B is the most common visa category for product analysts in Maryland, as the role typically qualifies as a specialty occupation requiring a bachelor's degree or higher in a relevant field such as computer science, statistics, or business analytics. Candidates already in the U.S. on OPT or STEM OPT extension often transition to H-1B sponsorship through Maryland employers. The O-1A is an option for analysts with documented exceptional achievements, though it requires substantial supporting evidence.
How to find product analyst visa sponsorship jobs in Maryland?
Migrate Mate is built specifically for this search. You can filter by role and state to see product analyst positions in Maryland where employers have indicated visa sponsorship availability. Because Maryland's hiring is spread across Bethesda, Baltimore, Rockville, and Columbia, using Migrate Mate's location filters helps you target the specific corridor that fits your situation, whether you are near a federal hub or a life sciences campus.
Which cities in Maryland have the most product analyst sponsorship jobs?
The majority of product analyst sponsorship opportunities in Maryland are concentrated in the Baltimore-Washington corridor. Bethesda and Rockville host a high density of federal contractors and health-focused technology companies. Baltimore anchors the life sciences and academic health system employers. Columbia and Silver Spring serve as secondary hubs with a mix of government IT, cybersecurity, and software product companies actively hiring international analysts.
Are there state-specific factors product analysts should know when pursuing sponsorship in Maryland?
Maryland's heavy reliance on federal government contracting introduces a practical consideration: some positions require security clearances, which are generally not available to non-U.S. citizens or permanent residents, narrowing the pool of sponsoring roles for visa holders. However, the state's commercial technology sector, university research institutions like the University of Maryland, and a growing cybersecurity industry outside the clearance track still generate consistent sponsorship demand for product analysts.
What is the prevailing wage for sponsored product analyst jobs in Maryland?
U.S. employers sponsoring a visa must pay at least the prevailing wage, which is what workers in the same role, area, and experience level typically earn. The Department of Labor sets this rate to make sure companies aren't hiring foreign workers simply because they'd accept lower pay than a U.S. worker. It varies by job title, location, and experience. You can look up current prevailing wage rates for any occupation and location using the OFLC Wage Search page.
