Which companies sponsor visas for customer success engineers in Massachusetts?
Several Massachusetts-based technology companies have sponsored visas for customer success engineering roles, including HubSpot, Akamai, Klaviyo, Carbon Black, and Rapid7. Larger enterprise software firms in the Boston and Cambridge area tend to have dedicated immigration support teams, making them more likely to manage the sponsorship process for technical customer-facing positions than smaller startups.
Which visa types are most common for customer success engineering roles in Massachusetts?
The H-1B visa is the most common visa type for customer success engineering roles in Massachusetts, as these positions typically require a bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, or a related technical field, meeting the specialty occupation standard. Candidates already holding L-1B status through an intracompany transfer or on an approved OPT period are also frequently hired into these roles by Massachusetts employers.
Which cities in Massachusetts have the most customer success engineering sponsorship jobs?
Boston and Cambridge account for the highest concentration of customer success engineering sponsorship jobs in Massachusetts, driven by the dense cluster of SaaS, cybersecurity, and cloud infrastructure companies in those areas. The Route 128 and Route 495 corridors, including cities like Waltham, Burlington, and Woburn, also have significant employer presence, particularly among mid-size and enterprise technology companies.
How to find customer success engineering visa sponsorship jobs in Massachusetts?
Migrate Mate filters job listings specifically by visa sponsorship availability, making it straightforward to find customer success engineering roles in Massachusetts where employers are actively willing to sponsor. You can filter by state and role type to surface relevant openings at companies that have a track record of H-1B and other work visa sponsorship, saving time compared to sorting through general job listings manually.
Are there state-specific factors that affect visa sponsorship for customer success engineering roles in Massachusetts?
Massachusetts has one of the highest concentrations of research universities and technology accelerators in the country, which means employers here are generally more accustomed to hiring internationally educated candidates and navigating sponsorship processes. The state's strong OPT pipeline from institutions like MIT, Northeastern, and Boston University also means many customer success engineering candidates enter the workforce through F-1 status before transitioning to H-1B sponsorship.
What is the prevailing wage for sponsored customer success engineering jobs in Massachusetts?
U.S. employers sponsoring a visa must pay at least the prevailing wage, which is what workers in the same role, area, and experience level typically earn. The Department of Labor sets this rate to make sure companies aren't hiring foreign workers simply because they'd accept lower pay than a U.S. worker. It varies by job title, location, and experience. You can look up current prevailing wage rates for any occupation and location using the OFLC Wage Search page.
