Which finance companies sponsor Green Card visas in New Hampshire?
Fidelity Investments has a significant presence in southern New Hampshire and has historically sponsored Green Cards for finance professionals. Citizens Bank, Santander, and regional credit unions in the Manchester-Nashua corridor have also filed sponsorship petitions. Larger employers in insurance and wealth management, such as those in the Concord area, are more likely to have established immigration programs than smaller community banks.
Which cities in New Hampshire have the most finance Green Card sponsorship jobs?
Manchester and Nashua account for the majority of finance employer activity in New Hampshire, with the highest concentration of banks, investment firms, and insurance companies. Concord, as the state capital, has finance roles tied to government-adjacent financial services. Portsmouth also attracts some regional finance employers. Proximity to the Massachusetts border makes southern New Hampshire the most active area for sponsored finance positions.
What types of finance roles typically qualify for Green Card sponsorship in New Hampshire?
Roles that typically qualify include financial analysts, portfolio managers, compliance officers, risk analysts, actuaries, and accounting professionals with specialized credentials such as CPA or CFA designations. These positions generally meet the EB-2 specialty occupation standard or qualify under EB-3 for skilled workers. Generalist roles with broad educational requirements are less likely to receive sponsorship from New Hampshire employers.
How do I find finance Green Card sponsorship jobs in New Hampshire?
Migrate Mate filters job listings specifically by visa type and state, making it straightforward to browse finance roles in New Hampshire where employers have indicated Green Card sponsorship. Rather than sorting through general job boards, Migrate Mate surfaces positions from employers with documented sponsorship activity, which is particularly useful in a smaller market like New Hampshire where sponsored finance roles are less frequent than in major metros.
Are there any state-specific considerations for Green Card sponsorship in New Hampshire finance roles?
New Hampshire has no state income tax, which influences how employers structure compensation and can affect PERM prevailing wage determinations tied to the Manchester or Nashua metro areas. The relatively small size of the state's finance sector means fewer employers maintain active immigration programs, so candidates often target firms with multi-state operations or Boston-area affiliates that extend sponsorship to their New Hampshire offices.
What is the prevailing wage for Green Card finance jobs in New Hampshire?
U.S. employers sponsoring a visa must pay at least the prevailing wage, which is what workers in the same role, area, and experience level typically earn. The Department of Labor sets this rate to make sure companies aren't hiring foreign workers simply because they'd accept lower pay than a U.S. worker. It varies by job title, location, and experience. You can look up current prevailing wage rates for any occupation and location using the OFLC Wage Search page.
