With recent growth, we are now looking to bring on a new Maintenance Technician to join the Proven Winners team. We are seeking a Maintenance Technician to assist with day-to-day projects including the maintenance of irrigation lines, production machinery, and specific equipment, all the while being able to contribute to long term projects including the continued expansion of our growing areas. This position will play a direct role in the installation, maintenance, and repair of specific equipment across the facility to reduce downtime and ensure production quotas are being met.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
- Inspect, troubleshoot, and repair equipment, HVAC (heating, ventilation, and air conditioning) systems, refrigeration equipment, and other mechanical systems.
- Perform preventive maintenance and equipment repair.
- Read schematics to identify faults and guide repairs; install equipment and replace components as needed.
- Respond to service requests, explain work clearly, and deliver professional customer service.
- Operate a company vehicle safely and maintain tools, parts, and service records.
Requirement Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
- Possess knowledge and experience on electrical, plumbing, and mechanical competencies.
- Demonstrate excellent time management, planning, attention to detail, organization, decision making, and problem solving skills.
- Awareness of OSHA regulations.
- Ability to participate in rotating schedules (off hours and/or weekends), to respond to events, emergencies, and incidents.
- Demonstrate ability to work cooperatively and collaboratively with all levels of employees and management to complete assigned tasks in a timely fashion.
Education Requirements & Experience Preferences:
- High School Diploma or Equivalent.
- Valid drivers license (in good standing to be placed on company insurance).
- 3-5 Years of related experience working on production machinery, large scale facility maintenance.
- Experience operating forklifts, scissor lifts, golf carts preferred.
Pay: From $30.00 per hour
