Which companies sponsor visas for project consultants in New Hampshire?
BAE Systems, Dartmouth Health, Oracle, Liberty Mutual, and Fidelity Investments have all filed Labor Condition Applications for consulting-adjacent roles in New Hampshire. Defense and aerospace contractors in the Manchester and Nashua corridor are particularly active sponsors, as are healthcare systems seeking IT project consultants to manage large-scale implementation and infrastructure projects.
Which visa types are most common for project consultant roles in New Hampshire?
The H-1B visa is the most common visa for project consultant roles in New Hampshire, particularly for candidates with degrees in computer science, engineering, business, or information systems. Candidates from Australia may qualify for the E-3 visa, and those from Canada or Mexico may use the TN visa under the USMCA. L-1B intracompany transfers are also used when consultants move within a multinational employer.
Which cities in New Hampshire have the most project consultant sponsorship jobs?
Manchester is the primary hub, home to the largest concentration of technology, finance, and healthcare employers in the state. Nashua follows closely, with a strong presence of defense contractors and IT services firms. Concord, as the state capital, draws project consultants for government-adjacent and healthcare administration roles. The southern tier generally accounts for the large majority of sponsorship activity in New Hampshire.
How to find project consultant visa sponsorship jobs in New Hampshire?
Migrate Mate filters job listings specifically by visa sponsorship availability, making it straightforward to find project consultant roles in New Hampshire without sorting through positions that don't offer sponsorship. You can filter by state and role type to surface relevant openings from employers in the Manchester-Nashua corridor, healthcare systems, and defense contractors who have a documented history of sponsoring international candidates.
Are there any state-specific considerations for project consultants seeking visa sponsorship in New Hampshire?
New Hampshire has no state income tax, which affects prevailing wage comparisons and total compensation calculations that employers submit with Labor Condition Applications. The state's proximity to Boston means some employers operate across both markets, so roles posted in southern New Hampshire may involve hybrid work arrangements. Dartmouth College in Hanover also creates a pipeline of international talent for consulting roles in the upper Connecticut River valley.
What is the prevailing wage for sponsored project consultant jobs in New Hampshire?
U.S. employers sponsoring a visa must pay at least the prevailing wage, which is what workers in the same role, area, and experience level typically earn. The Department of Labor sets this rate to make sure companies aren't hiring foreign workers simply because they'd accept lower pay than a U.S. worker. It varies by job title, location, and experience. You can look up current prevailing wage rates for any occupation and location using the OFLC Wage Search page.
