INTRODUCTION
Optomi, in partnership with one of our clients, is seeking an IT Support Analyst to provide high-touch, onsite technical support within a fast-paced, client-facing environment at a flagship NYC office. This role will focus on delivering white-glove support to both end users and executive leadership, troubleshooting a wide range of hardware, software, and access-related issues across Windows environments, Microsoft 365, and Active Directory. The IT Support Analyst will serve as a key onsite resource, handling escalations, resolving complex technical problems, and ensuring a seamless user experience through strong diagnostic skills and proactive issue resolution. The ideal candidate brings hands-on desktop support experience in high-pressure environments, a polished and professional communication style, and the ability to quickly build trust while supporting C-level stakeholders. This role requires adaptability, attention to detail, and a customer-first mindset to successfully navigate a dynamic, high-visibility setting.
ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Provide high-touch, onsite IT support for end users and executive leadership within a fast-paced office environment
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues across desktops, laptops, and mobile devices, including hardware failures, performance issues, and connectivity problems
- Support and administer Microsoft 365 and Active Directory, including account access, permissions, and email-related issues
- Deliver white-glove support to C-level executives, handling urgent requests with professionalism and discretion
- Manage and resolve tickets while also supporting walk-up and real-time issues as they arise
- Perform device imaging, deployment, setup, and break/fix, including onboarding and offboarding support
- Collaborate with internal IT teams to escalate and resolve complex issues, while documenting solutions and identifying recurring problems
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
- 5–8 years of hands-on IT support experience, including onsite desktop support in fast-paced, high-visibility environments
- Proven experience providing white-glove / executive (C-level) support with strong professionalism and communication skills
- Advanced troubleshooting skills across Windows environments, including performance issues, connectivity, and user access problems
- Strong experience with Microsoft 365 (Outlook, Teams, OneDrive) and Active Directory (user management, permissions, account troubleshooting)
- Hands-on experience with hardware support, imaging, device deployment, and break/fix for laptops, desktops, and peripherals
- Ability to handle escalations and operate beyond basic help desk, demonstrating strong diagnostic thinking and problem ownership
- Experience working in multi-site, corporate, or high-pressure environments (e.g., finance, legal, consulting) with the ability to adapt quickly and prioritize effectively
