Position Summary
The Procurement Analyst – BMRAM support will be responsible for day-to-day procurement of supplies, materials, and equipment necessary for the operation of a GMP facility with the focus on continuous improvement. The role will process requisitions, contact vendors, analyze bids and initiate contracts. This role will research and develop new supplier relationships as needed and be responsible for reviewing and approving new vendor submissions while recommending enhancements to the vendor management process.
Essential Functions
- Implement resource strategies, tools, and specialized support necessary for cost-effective business solutions.
- Implement cost improvements including purchase price variance (PPV), indirect spending and payment terms.
- Maintain BMRAM supporting asset population ensuring all new and current equipment/assets are captured accurately.
- Perform data entry, support work orders, track and schedule PM’s/calibrations and other requirements as required.
- Maintain strong collaborative partnerships with leading experts, and other manufacturing sites.
- Routinely create Purchase Requisitions for the indirect purchase of materials and services.
- Manage procurement purchasing of all inputs, equipment, fuel and other commodities.
- Assist working with multiple business units, planning and prioritizing all procurement activities.
- Ensure that all orders comply with supplier agreements.
- Review planned orders and manage the approval process.
- Participate in quality activities such as material review, complaints management, and CAPA.
- Support KPI performance metrics for inventory health, purchase order management, vendor performance, and PPV.
- Create, edit and adhere to Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), process improvements, and standardization of templates.
- Perform ad-hoc and cross-functional duties and/or projects as assigned to support business needs and provide developmental opportunities.
Education & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in supply chain management, or other business-related disciplines with 3+ years of relevant procurement experience required; OR
- Associate’s degree in business administration, or other business-related disciplines with 5+ years of relevant procurement experience required; OR
- High School degree with 7+ years of relevant procurement experience required.
- Experience working in a cGMP facility required.
- Experience with Dynamics 365 ERP systems preferred.
- Experience with a start-up pharmaceutical company preferred.
Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities
- Strong analytical skills combined with practical business acumen.
- Ability to thrive in a matrix and diverse cross-functional team environment.
- Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a global organization, with internal and external clients.
- Agility in managing multiple tasks within tight deadlines.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, working knowledge of MS applications - Outlook, Power Point, Word, OneNote, Teams.
- Proficiency in BMRAM (Regulatory Asset Manager).
- Familiarity with ERP systems, Dynamics 365, AX2012.
- Ability to apply sound judgement and work independently.
Working Environment / Physical Environment
- This position works Onsite.
- Regular work schedule is Monday – Friday, within standard business hours. Flexibility is available with manager approval.
- Must possess mobility to work in a standard office setting and to use standard office equipment, including a computer.
- Lift and carry materials weighing up to 20 pounds.
This position is eligible for a discretionary bonus and equity award. The annual base pay range for this position is below. The specific rate will depend on the successful candidate’s qualifications, prior experience as well as geographic location.
$75,000 (entry-level qualifications) to $83,000 (highly experienced) annually.
