Which finance companies sponsor TN visas in Ohio?
Several large financial institutions headquartered or operating in Ohio have a history of sponsoring international workers, including KeyBank and Huntington Bancshares in Cleveland, Fifth Third Bank in Cincinnati, and JPMorgan Chase's Columbus offices. Regional banks, insurance firms like Nationwide, and asset management companies also operate across the state and have hired TN visa holders in qualifying professional roles.
Which cities in Ohio have the most finance TN sponsorship jobs?
Columbus is Ohio's largest finance employment center, home to major bank operations, insurance headquarters, and fintech employers. Cleveland has a concentrated banking and wealth management presence, particularly around KeyBank and regional investment firms. Cincinnati rounds out the top three, driven by Fifth Third Bank's headquarters and a cluster of financial services companies. Smaller markets like Dayton and Akron have limited but occasional openings.
What types of finance roles typically qualify for TN sponsorship?
TN visa sponsorship in finance generally covers roles that require a specific bachelor's degree or higher in a relevant field. Commonly qualifying positions include financial analysts, accountants, economists, and management consultants. Roles such as investment analyst, credit risk analyst, and financial planning analyst also tend to qualify when tied to a degree in finance, economics, accounting, or a closely related discipline. General business or administrative roles typically do not qualify.
How do I find finance TN sponsorship jobs in Ohio?
Migrate Mate is built specifically for this search. You can filter by TN visa sponsorship, the finance industry, and the state of Ohio to see verified openings from employers willing to sponsor. Because TN sponsorship eligibility depends on both the role and your degree, reviewing job descriptions carefully for degree requirements is important before applying. Migrate Mate surfaces relevant postings so you're not sorting through positions that don't support TN.
Are there state-specific considerations for TN sponsorship in Ohio's finance sector?
Ohio does not impose state-level visa sponsorship requirements beyond federal TN rules, but finance roles in Ohio may require licensure. For example, roles involving securities or investment advice may require FINRA licensing, and some accounting positions require CPA credentials. These are separate from TN eligibility but affect your ability to perform the job legally in Ohio. Confirming both TN qualification and any professional licensing requirements before accepting an offer is advisable.
