Facility: Ascension St. John Medical Center

Department/Speciality: Cath Lab

Schedule: PRN Day Shift, Monday through Friday, 7:00am-5:30pm, Flexible Hours

ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES

How you'll make an impact in this role:

• Facilitate Seamless Patient Journeys: Safely transport and transition patients between units and imaging tables, ensuring their comfort and dignity are maintained at every step.
• Optimize Clinical Flow: Prepare procedure rooms, specialized contrast media, and necessary medications to ensure physicians and technologists can focus entirely on diagnostic precision.
• Champion a Healing Environment: Maintain a pristine, organized, and safe clinical space across procedure rooms and patient areas to uphold the highest standards of care and safety.
• Drive Operational Accuracy: Execute critical documentation and digital workflows to ensure that every patient’s medical imaging record is precise and up-to-date.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

What minimum qualifications you'll need:

• Licensure / Certification / Registration: BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.

• Education: High school diploma equivalency OR Enrolled in accredited program specific to discipline required.

What additional requirements you'll need:

• MUST BE A 2ND YEAR STUDENT ENROLLED IN A CARDIOVASCULAR TECH PROGRAM
