Which companies sponsor visas for service supervisors in Oklahoma?
Energy and industrial companies are the most active sponsors for service supervisor roles in Oklahoma. ONEOK, Williams Companies, and Halliburton have filed Labor Condition Applications for supervisory positions in the state. Large manufacturers and logistics operators in the Tulsa and Oklahoma City metro areas also appear in Department of Labor disclosure data for H-1B visa and other work visa filings covering operations and service management roles.
Which visa types are most common for service supervisor roles in Oklahoma?
The H-1B is the most common visa for service supervisors in Oklahoma when the role qualifies as a specialty occupation, typically requiring a bachelor's degree in a related field such as engineering, operations management, or a technical discipline. The TN visa is an option for Canadian and Mexican nationals in qualifying management categories. L-1 visas apply when a candidate transfers from a foreign affiliate of an Oklahoma-based employer.
Which cities in Oklahoma have the most service supervisor sponsorship jobs?
Tulsa and Oklahoma City account for the majority of service supervisor visa sponsorship activity in Oklahoma. Tulsa's concentration of energy and pipeline companies makes it the stronger market for technical supervisory roles. Oklahoma City offers broader opportunities across healthcare systems, aerospace, and state government contractors. Broken Arrow and Edmond, as growing suburban employment corridors, also host operations centers that hire supervisory staff.
How to find service supervisor visa sponsorship jobs in Oklahoma?
Migrate Mate filters job listings specifically for visa sponsorship, making it straightforward to search service supervisor openings in Oklahoma without sorting through roles that don't support international candidates. You can filter by state and role type to surface employers actively sponsoring in Oklahoma's energy, manufacturing, and logistics sectors, which represent the strongest hiring areas for service supervisors in the state.
Are there state-specific considerations for service supervisor visa sponsorship in Oklahoma?
Oklahoma's economy is heavily tied to oil and gas, which shapes what service supervisor roles look like and which employers dominate sponsorship filings. Roles in pipeline operations, field services, and plant management appear frequently in DOL disclosure data for the state. Oklahoma State University and the University of Oklahoma also produce engineering and operations graduates, which creates some employer familiarity with practical training visa categories like OPT for entry-level supervisory tracks.
What is the prevailing wage for sponsored service supervisor jobs in Oklahoma?
U.S. employers sponsoring a visa must pay at least the prevailing wage, which is what workers in the same role, area, and experience level typically earn. The Department of Labor sets this rate to make sure companies aren't hiring foreign workers simply because they'd accept lower pay than a U.S. worker. It varies by job title, location, and experience. You can look up current prevailing wage rates for any occupation and location using the OFLC Wage Search page.
