Search Account Project Manager Jobs in TennesseeAccount Project Manager Jobs in Tennessee: Frequently Asked Questions
Which companies sponsor visas for account project managers in Tennessee?
Nashville-based employers are the most active sponsors for account project manager roles in Tennessee. HCA Healthcare, Asurion, and Nissan North America have documented H-1B sponsorship histories through Department of Labor LCA filings. Larger consulting firms and healthcare IT vendors operating out of Nashville's midtown and Brentwood corridors also appear regularly in sponsorship data. Memphis-area logistics companies represent a secondary cluster.
Which visa types are most common for account project manager roles in Tennessee?
The H-1B is the most common visa category for account project managers in Tennessee, as the role typically requires a bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or a related field, satisfying the specialty occupation standard. L-1B visas are used when a candidate transfers from an overseas office of a multinational employer. TN visas apply specifically to Canadian and Mexican nationals in qualifying business categories.
Which cities in Tennessee have the most account project manager sponsorship jobs?
Nashville and its suburbs, including Brentwood and Franklin, account for the majority of account project manager sponsorship activity in Tennessee. The city's concentration of healthcare, technology, and corporate services employers drives demand. Memphis is a secondary market, particularly in logistics and distribution sectors. Smaller markets like Knoxville and Chattanooga have more limited but emerging sponsorship presence, mainly through manufacturing and regional corporate offices.
How to find account project manager visa sponsorship jobs in Tennessee?
Migrate Mate filters account project manager jobs specifically to Tennessee employers who have a history of visa sponsorship, saving time that would otherwise go toward screening out non-sponsoring listings. The platform pulls from verified LCA and H-1B disclosure data, so the roles shown reflect real sponsorship patterns in markets like Nashville and Memphis. Searching by role and state on Migrate Mate gives the most targeted starting point for this search.
Are there state-specific considerations for account project manager sponsorship roles in Tennessee?
Tennessee has no state income tax on wages, which affects prevailing wage comparisons since take-home pay differs from states like California or New York at equivalent gross salaries. Employers filing Labor Condition Applications must still meet Department of Labor prevailing wage requirements for the Nashville or Memphis metropolitan statistical area, depending on job location. The state's growing healthcare IT and automotive supplier base has expanded the number of employers with established sponsorship infrastructure in recent years.
What is the prevailing wage for sponsored account project manager jobs in Tennessee?
U.S. employers sponsoring a visa must pay at least the prevailing wage, which is what workers in the same role, area, and experience level typically earn. The Department of Labor sets this rate to make sure companies aren't hiring foreign workers simply because they'd accept lower pay than a U.S. worker. It varies by job title, location, and experience. You can look up current prevailing wage rates for any occupation and location using the OFLC Wage Search page.
