Our facility in Nashville is seeking skilled Industrial Maintenance Technicians to join our team. This role involves direct, multi-craft maintenance work on a variety of increasingly automated production systems.
A primary advantage of this role is our unique overtime compensation. Team members generally work a 50-hour week, with all hours exceeding 40 compensated at double the standard rate. There are also opportunities for extra Saturday shifts.
ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Core Duties
- Identify and resolve issues with industrial production machinery.
- Execute repairs and diagnostics on both electrical and mechanical systems.
- Ensure the reliability of PLC-driven machinery and automated systems.
- Maintain 3-phase motors, VFDs, sensors, controls, and associated electrical wiring.
- Analyze and repair hydraulic and pneumatic components.
- Support the uptime of conveyors, robotics, and other automated hardware.
- Conduct routine preventive and predictive maintenance tasks.
- Minimize production interruptions by effectively diagnosing equipment malfunctions.
- Provide support for minor PLC adjustments and edits as required.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
Required Background
- At least 3 years of experience in an industrial maintenance setting is preferred.
- Demonstrated proficiency in electrical troubleshooting.
- Background working with PLC-managed manufacturing technology.
- Hands-on experience with mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.
- Familiarity with VFDs, motors, conveyors, or robotics is considered an asset.
- Ability to thrive in a high-speed manufacturing setting.
- Readiness to handle both mechanical and electrical maintenance tasks.
