Which companies sponsor visas for product specialists in Texas?
Several large Texas employers have established track records of sponsoring work visas for product specialists. Dell Technologies and NXP Semiconductors in Austin, AT&T and Match Group in Dallas, and Hewlett Packard Enterprise in Houston have filed H-1B visa petitions for product-focused roles. Enterprise software firms, medical device companies, and semiconductor manufacturers in Texas tend to sponsor most consistently, given their need for specialized technical and commercial product expertise.
Which visa types are most common for product specialist roles in Texas?
The H-1B is the most common visa for product specialists in Texas, particularly for roles requiring a bachelor's degree or higher in a specific technical or business field. The L-1B intracompany transferee visa is another pathway used by multinational firms with Texas offices. Canadian and Mexican nationals may also qualify for the TN visa under the USMCA if the role meets the applicable professional category requirements.
How to find product specialist visa sponsorship jobs in Texas?
Migrate Mate filters job listings specifically by visa sponsorship availability, making it straightforward to browse product specialist roles posted by Texas employers willing to sponsor. You can narrow results by city, industry, and visa type. Because sponsoring employers in Texas are concentrated in sectors like technology, healthcare IT, and semiconductors, filtering by those industries on Migrate Mate helps surface the most relevant opportunities quickly.
Which cities in Texas have the most product specialist sponsorship jobs?
Austin is the leading market for product specialist sponsorship jobs in Texas, driven by its dense concentration of technology companies and startups. Dallas-Fort Worth follows closely, with strong demand from enterprise software, financial technology, and telecommunications firms. Houston contributes opportunities in energy technology and healthcare, while San Antonio has a growing cybersecurity and defense technology sector that employs product specialists with specialized backgrounds.
Are there any Texas-specific considerations for product specialists seeking visa sponsorship?
Texas has no state income tax, which affects how employers benchmark total compensation packages, but Department of Labor prevailing wage requirements for H-1B petitions still apply based on the specific metropolitan area where the role is located. Austin and Dallas-Fort Worth are designated as separate wage regions, so prevailing wages differ between them. Several Texas universities, including UT Austin and Texas A&M, produce international graduates who enter the local product specialist job market on OPT, creating a well-established pipeline that many Texas employers are familiar with.
What is the prevailing wage for sponsored product specialist jobs in Texas?
U.S. employers sponsoring a visa must pay at least the prevailing wage, which is what workers in the same role, area, and experience level typically earn. The Department of Labor sets this rate to make sure companies aren't hiring foreign workers simply because they'd accept lower pay than a U.S. worker. It varies by job title, location, and experience. You can look up current prevailing wage rates for any occupation and location using the OFLC Wage Search page.
