Which companies in Texas sponsor visas for strategic partnerships managers?
Large technology and enterprise companies in Texas with a track record of H-1B visa sponsorship include Dell Technologies, Oracle, AT&T, IBM, and Texas Instruments. In Houston, energy and healthcare firms such as ExxonMobil, Chevron, and HCA Healthcare also hire for partnerships roles. Sponsorship decisions ultimately depend on the specific position, business need, and hiring manager, so verifying directly with the employer matters.
What visa types are most commonly used for strategic partnerships manager roles in Texas?
The H-1B is the most common visa for strategic partnerships managers in Texas, as the role typically qualifies as a specialty occupation requiring a bachelor's degree or higher in business, marketing, or a related field. Candidates already holding L-1A or L-1B status through an intracompany transfer are also frequently found in partnerships roles at multinationals headquartered or with major offices in Texas.
Which cities in Texas have the most strategic partnerships manager sponsorship jobs?
Austin has the highest concentration of partnerships roles in Texas, driven by its technology sector and the presence of companies like Apple, Google, and Oracle. Dallas-Fort Worth follows closely, with large enterprise technology and financial services firms actively hiring. Houston is the primary hub for energy and healthcare partnerships roles. San Antonio has a smaller but growing market, particularly in cybersecurity and defense.
How to find strategic partnerships manager visa sponsorship jobs in Texas?
Migrate Mate is built specifically for international candidates and filters strategic partnerships manager roles in Texas by visa sponsorship status, so you're not sorting through listings from employers who won't sponsor. The platform surfaces employers with verified H-1B filing history in business development and partnerships functions across Austin, Dallas, Houston, and beyond, which is particularly useful given how competitive these roles are in Texas's technology and energy sectors.
Are there any Texas-specific considerations for strategic partnerships manager candidates seeking visa sponsorship?
Texas has no state income tax, which affects prevailing wage calculations that employers must meet under H-1B Labor Condition Application requirements. Austin's rapid tech growth means partnerships roles there often sit within startup ecosystems where smaller companies may have less sponsorship infrastructure than established enterprises. Candidates from university programs at UT Austin, Rice, or Texas A&M sometimes have direct pipelines into partnerships roles at Texas-based employers familiar with OPT and H-1B sponsorship.
What is the prevailing wage for sponsored strategic partnerships manager jobs in Texas?
U.S. employers sponsoring a visa must pay at least the prevailing wage, which is what workers in the same role, area, and experience level typically earn. The Department of Labor sets this rate to make sure companies aren't hiring foreign workers simply because they'd accept lower pay than a U.S. worker. It varies by job title, location, and experience. You can look up current prevailing wage rates for any occupation and location using the OFLC Wage Search page.
