Which companies sponsor visas for supply chain roles in Texas?
Major Texas employers with a track record of sponsoring supply chain roles include ExxonMobil and Chevron Phillips Chemical in Houston, Toyota's North American headquarters in Plano, Amazon's fulfillment and operations network across DFW, and Dell Technologies in Round Rock. Large consulting firms like Deloitte and Accenture, which staff supply chain projects across Texas, also file H-1B petitions regularly for these roles.
Which visa types are most common for supply chain jobs in Texas?
The H-1B is the most commonly sponsored visa for supply chain analysts, logistics managers, and procurement specialists in Texas, since these roles typically require at least a bachelor's degree in supply chain management, industrial engineering, or a related field. Canadian and Mexican nationals may qualify for the TN visa under NAFTA/USMCA for certain management and engineer classifications. Australians may be eligible for the E-3 visa in qualifying roles.
Which cities in Texas have the most supply chain sponsorship jobs?
Dallas-Fort Worth leads in volume, driven by a dense concentration of corporate headquarters, third-party logistics providers, and distribution centers. Houston is a strong second, particularly for energy sector supply chain and procurement roles tied to oil and gas. Austin's growing tech sector creates demand for supply chain roles at companies like Apple, Tesla, and Oracle. San Antonio has a smaller but active market, particularly in defense and manufacturing supply chains.
How to find supply chain visa sponsorship jobs in Texas?
Migrate Mate is designed specifically for international job seekers and filters supply chain roles in Texas by visa sponsorship status, so you're not sifting through listings from employers who won't sponsor. You can search by city, role type, and visa category to find positions at Texas employers actively hiring for procurement, logistics, and operations roles. Creating a profile also helps match you to relevant openings as they're posted.
Are there any Texas-specific factors that affect supply chain visa sponsorship?
Texas has no state income tax, which affects prevailing wage benchmarking since compensation packages may be structured differently than in high-tax states. The Houston area's energy industry creates specialized demand for supply chain professionals with oil and gas experience, which can strengthen an H-1B petition's specialty occupation case. Several Texas universities, including Texas A&M and UT Austin, have strong supply chain programs that create a local pipeline of international graduates on OPT seeking sponsorship.
What is the prevailing wage for sponsored supply chain jobs in Texas?
U.S. employers sponsoring a visa must pay at least the prevailing wage, which is what workers in the same role, area, and experience level typically earn. The Department of Labor sets this rate to make sure companies aren't hiring foreign workers simply because they'd accept lower pay than a U.S. worker. It varies by job title, location, and experience. You can look up current prevailing wage rates for any occupation and location using the OFLC Wage Search page.
