Sample and verify product quality to keep beloved brands like Pepsi, Gatorade, and Aquafina flowing to communities safely, consistently, and to specification.
What You’ll Do
- Perform routine quality tests and use testing instruments to verify product and package specifications
- Pull product and packaging samples during production to confirm standards (e.g., quality, labeling, freshness dating, fill levels, and container integrity)
- Record test results and maintain daily quality documentation, communicating needed adjustments to help eliminate irregularities
- Clean and sanitize equipment and work areas during and after shift, following process guidelines and good housekeeping practices
- Expedite quality concerns to management and partner with production and maintenance teams to support efficient, compliant operations
Minimum Qualifications
- 18 years or older
- Position requires lifting/carrying cases weighing 20-45 pounds repeatedly over 10-12 hour periods (with or without accommodation)
- Position requires continuous standing and walking, manipulating and handling product samples while sitting (with or without accommodation)
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with audit compliance and food safety, testing instruments and standard operating procedures
- Experience with mechanical systems including but not limited to cooling/ammonia systems and water treatment systems
- Experience with product changeovers and equipment calibration
