- Ensure compliance and consistency of quality to company standards and specifications for raw material and finished goods batches
- Responsible for the quality control of all incoming raw materials from vendors and all outgoing finished products in all batches. Report and document all products and materials that pass and/or fail to meet quality expectations
- Assist in resolving quality and consistency related issues in a timely manner
- Problem solve by working closely with R&D to improve current products and solve issues
- Fulfill and complete all return authorizations
- Enter product formulas into Chempax for new color matches
- Enter LAB values into iQC
- Assist with general lab clean up and organization
- Perform all Quality Test procedures efficiently and effectively
- Check repacks and create repack tickets
- Work closely with Inventory control on daily/weekly priority to ensure products are completed on time
- Identify where work off batches or slow movers can be consumed and ensure that occurs
- Implement and complete eChempax Projects
Requirements
- BS degree in Chemistry, or related science preferred
- Prior experience in a quality control position preferred
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills to convey technical data, conclusions, and product recommendations
- Self-starter that takes initiative to meet goals, objectives, and deadlines in a fast-paced and customer-centric environment
- Strong math, time-management, problem-solving, and project management skills
- Proficient with MS Office
