ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Responsible for classroom participation and sales activities in retail, inside sales and outside sales environments. Under close supervision, analyzes clients needs and assists in different phases of the sales process.
Duties:
- Responsible ensuring proper stocking of Lennox products.
- Assists in unloading products and deliveries.
- Effectively communicates features, benefits, and warranty policy information to customers.
- Ensures warranties are properly taken care of in a timely manner.
- Follows and adheres to all safety, health and security and environmental standards.
- Will perform as Store Manager when needed, including scheduling, ordering and open/close procedures.
- Generates leads for outside sales staff, proactively sell in support of company promotions.
- Responds to and investigates customer inquiries, concerns, and issues via phone, fax, and mail.
- Under direct supervision, sells products, services, supplies to selected customers in a designated market area or accounts via inbound or outbound telephone contacts.
- Participates in outside sales appointments and other sales training.
- Participates in and successfully completes all graduate sales academy training program requirements.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor Degree required.
- Requires strong abilities with building relationships, listening, persuading, negotiating and managing time.
- Some knowledge of principles and methods for showing, promoting, and selling products or services. This includes marketing strategy and tactics, product demonstration, sales techniques, and sales control systems.
- Knows some principles and processes for providing customer service. This includes customer needs assessment, meeting quality standards for services, and evaluation of customer satisfaction.
- Effective at written and verbal communication.
- Has basic user knowledge of Microsoft Office and Customer Relationship Management software.
- Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Prior sales, customer service, retail or cashier experience preferred.
