Entry Level Anesthesiologist Jobs: Frequently Asked Questions
How do I get an entry level anesthesiologist job?
Complete your residency or fellowship and ensure board certification or eligibility, since most entry level anesthesiologist roles require it as a baseline. Highlight clinical rotations, procedure volume, and any subspecialty exposure in your application materials. Targeting hospital systems, ambulatory surgery centers, and group practices that explicitly welcome new attendings gives you the best foothold at this stage.
Which companies hire entry level anesthesiologists?
Companies hiring entry level anesthesiologists right now include NorthStar Anesthesia, Medical University of South Carolina, and Medical College of Wisconsin, based on current listings on Migrate Mate as of July 2026. Hiring at this level comes from a mix of large hospital networks, regional health systems, and independent anesthesia practice groups that actively recruit new attending physicians to expand their coverage.
Are there remote entry level anesthesiologist jobs?
Yes, though most anesthesiology work is hands-on and facility-based. About 0% of entry level anesthesiologist openings are remote or hybrid as of July 2026, and those roles typically involve telemedicine consultation, pain management follow-up, or administrative functions rather than direct procedural care.
Are these new grad anesthesiologist jobs?
Yes, these listings include new grad, recent graduate, and junior anesthesiologist roles. A posting is new-grad friendly when it welcomes candidates with zero to two years of post-training experience, accepts board-eligible status in place of full certification, and values residency or fellowship volume over an established attending record.
Which industries hire the most entry level anesthesiologists?
Entry Level anesthesiologist roles concentrate in Healthcare & Medical Services, Education, and Consulting & Professional Services, based on current listings on Migrate Mate as of July 2026. These sectors drive hiring at this level because high procedure volumes, surgery center growth, and physician staffing shortages create consistent demand for new attendings ready to step into clinical practice.
