Job Summary:
Supermicro is looking for talented and passionate Application Engineer who has in-depth knowledge in networking solution, especially in switch products. You will be responsible in providing technical supports to our enterprise customers, promote internal switch products to provide optimize customer's networking solution. The ideal candidate must have strong technical background in networking switch product as well as exceptional communication skill - ability to interface with all level of management staffs in professional manner.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Work closely with Production, Service, Purchaser, Product Manager to validate and debug CPUs server systems.
- Identify technical issues and collaborate with both internal teams and external partners to resolve issues.
- Proactively follow up the current backlogs for validation and escalate the road blockers as needed.
- Continuously process and documentation improvement for efficiency and accuracy.
- Continuously learn and create technical documents for validating and troubleshooting newer GPU systems.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in computer engineering or electrical engineering is preferred.
- 2+ years of working experience in computer systems and/or servers.
- Experiences with Intel/AMD/Nvidia CPUs/GPUs server platform is a plus.
- Strong organizational and interpersonal skills
- Highly analytical, creative, detail oriented, organized, a good team player.
- Familiar with Windows/Linux command-line interface (CLI).
- Excellent knowledge of Server / Workstation products.
- Strong communication skill in both verbal and written.
Salary Range
$80,000 - $100,000
The salary offered will depend on several factors, including your location, level, education, training, specific skills, years of experience, and comparison to other employees already in this role. In addition to a comprehensive benefits package, candidates may be eligible for other forms of compensation, such as participation in bonus and equity award programs.
