Associate Director Clinical Data Management Jobs in Idaho: Frequently Asked Questions
How do you become a associate director clinical data management in Idaho?
The path to an associate director clinical data management role in Idaho typically begins with a bachelor's degree in life sciences, health informatics, biostatistics, or a closely related field, often supplemented by a master's degree for senior appointments. Idaho does not require a state-issued license specific to clinical data management, but employers consistently value the CCDM certification from the Society for Clinical Data Management. Candidates progress through data coordinator and manager roles before reaching director-level positions at Idaho clinical research sites or health systems.
Which companies hire associate director clinical data managements in Idaho?
Companies currently hiring associate director clinical data managements in Idaho include AXIOM, CVS Health, and Enpro, per current listings on Migrate Mate as of July 2026. Idaho's growing clinical research infrastructure, anchored by health systems and contract research organizations serving the Pacific Northwest region, sustains ongoing demand at this senior level.
Which Idaho cities have the most associate director clinical data management jobs?
The cities with the most associate director clinical data management openings in Idaho are Boise, Lewiston, and Meridian. Boise drives the largest share of postings as Idaho's primary hub for health systems, biotech offices, and CRO regional operations, while Meridian and Nampa benefit from their proximity to Boise's healthcare corridor and the continued expansion of medical and life sciences employers into the Treasure Valley.
Are there remote associate director clinical data management jobs in Idaho?
Yes, and more than most fields, since associate director clinical data management is fundamentally an analytical and oversight role that does not require daily on-site presence. About 33% of associate director clinical data management openings tied to Idaho are remote or hybrid as of July 2026, reflecting the desk-based nature of data governance and regulatory coordination work. Database oversight, team leadership, and submission review are the functions most commonly performed fully remotely.
How can I get hired as a associate director clinical data management in Idaho with little or no experience?
The most realistic entry path is a clinical data coordinator role at a Boise-area health system, contract research organization, or a company operating clinical trials at Idaho research sites such as St. Luke's or Saint Alphonsus. From there, lateral moves from roles like clinical research associate, data analyst, or biostatistics coordinator provide the cross-functional exposure hiring managers look for. Earning the CCDM credential or completing coursework in CDISC standards while in an entry role meaningfully accelerates progression toward manager and then director-level consideration.
