Entry Level Brand Manager Jobs: Frequently Asked Questions
How do I get an entry level brand manager job?
Entry level brand manager roles reward candidates who can show real work, not just credentials. A portfolio with campus projects, freelance campaigns, or internship deliverables gives hiring managers something concrete to evaluate. Familiarity with brand guidelines, basic market research, and tools like Canva or Google Analytics signals you can contribute from day one. Tailoring your resume to each posting and highlighting measurable outcomes, even from student projects, gives you a clear edge at this stage.
Which companies hire entry level brand managers?
Companies hiring entry level brand managers right now include Spin Master, Meyer Distributing, and Melaleuca, based on current listings on Migrate Mate as of August 2026. Hiring at this level comes from a wide range of employers, including consumer goods companies, agencies, tech firms, and retailers actively building out their marketing teams.
Are there remote entry level brand manager jobs?
Yes, though most entry level brand manager roles still favor in-person or hybrid arrangements. About 55% of entry level brand manager openings are remote or hybrid as of August 2026, so fully remote positions exist but are not the majority. Filtering your search by work setting on Migrate Mate helps you find openings that match your location preferences quickly.
Are these new grad brand manager jobs?
Yes, these listings include new grad, recent graduate, and junior brand manager roles alongside other entry level postings. A new grad friendly posting typically welcomes zero to two years of experience and accepts internships, class projects, or a portfolio in place of full-time work history. If a job description mentions mentorship, rotational programs, or on-the-job training, it is generally built for candidates just starting out.
Which industries hire the most entry level brand managers?
Entry Level brand manager roles concentrate in Automotive, Food & Beverage, and Distribution & Wholesale, based on current listings on Migrate Mate as of August 2026. These sectors drive entry level hiring because they rely on consistent brand presence, product launches, and content output, creating ongoing demand for junior talent who can support and grow with established marketing teams.
