Entry Level Pre Sales Solutions Consultant Jobs: Frequently Asked Questions
How do I get an entry level pre sales solutions consultant job?
Employers hiring at the entry level look for candidates who can articulate a product's value clearly and ask good discovery questions. A background in business, communications, or a technical field helps, and any internship or project involving customer-facing work gives you a real edge. Familiarity with CRM tools, a willingness to learn sales methodologies, and strong written communication are the qualities that get junior candidates to a first interview.
Which companies hire entry level pre sales solutions consultants?

At this level, hiring covers software vendors, technology services firms, and B2B companies that run structured entry level or associate pre sales programs and train new hires on their products and sales process.
Are there remote entry level pre sales solutions consultant jobs?
Yes, though availability varies by employer and industry. About 33% of entry level pre sales solutions consultant openings are remote or hybrid as of July 2026, which gives new grads and junior candidates flexibility in where they apply. Many companies prefer hybrid arrangements at this stage so that new hires can shadow senior team members and build product knowledge more quickly.
Are these new grad pre sales solutions consultant jobs?
Yes, the roles listed here include new grad, recent graduate, and junior pre sales solutions consultant positions. A new-grad-friendly posting typically welcomes candidates with zero to two years of experience, accepts internships or academic projects in place of full-time work history, and sometimes considers a strong portfolio or demo reel showing communication and problem-solving skills rather than requiring prior pre sales experience specifically.
Which industries hire the most entry level pre sales solutions consultants?
