JOB SUMMARY:
Develops, integrates and provides account or brand-specific forecasts for internal sales and operations planning which includes: replenishment data, point-of sale data, sales promotion information, marketing plans, manufacturing capacity, and new distribution/product deletions. Assists in the improvement of demand forecasting accuracy for internal and external customers including determining the appropriate algorithm for statistical forecasts. Maintains and manages product history, accurate forecasting, and promotional demand. Analyzes internal demand stream information and categorizes according to demand patterns. Aligns sales/marketing intelligence for each operating unit for use in forecast systems, working with sales organization(s), national sales accounts, marketing, research and development, and related forecasting and planning groups.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

Requires the application of theoretical knowledge typically gained through formal education (i.e. a postsecondary degree) and on the job training.

May mentor, coach and/or train less experienced co-workers.
Frequent use and general knowledge of industry practices, techniques, and standards.
General application of concepts and principles.
Growing/Building knowledge of company, processes, and customers.
Develops solutions to a variety of problems of moderate scope and complexity; analysis requires a review of multiple factors.
Exercises judgment within defined policies and practices to determine appropriate action.
Contributes to the completion of organizational projects and goals.
Errors in judgment or failure to achieve results would normally require moderate expenditure of resources to rectify.
Works under moderate direction.
Work is reviewed for soundness of judgment and overall adequacy and accuracy.
Frequent internal company and external contacts.
Represents organization on specific projects

Pay Range: $73,100 - $97,400
