Arbill is hiring a proven sales rainmaker who is experienced in the safety distribution and safety value added services to hunt and close large, multi-site industrial accounts. We are not looking for an account caretaker or someone who needs a training playbook. You know the industrial safety and PPE landscape inside out, you control your own network, and you have the fuel in the tank to prospect relentlessly, travel heavily, and close complex commercial enterprise deals.
What You Will Do
- Hunt & Build: Generate your own high-value pipeline from scratch; target VP of Safety/EHS, Operations, and Procurement decision-makers at mid-to-enterprise manufacturing, commercial, industrial, and other vertical accounts.
- Sell Comprehensive Solutions: Package and sell full-scope safety programs including PPE, industrial vending solutions, prescription safety eyewear (Rx), and managed safety services/EHS consulting.
- Quarterback Major Deals: Lead end-to-end RFP/RFQ bids, margin negotiations, and executive presentations to secure multi-year agreements.
- Road Warrior Activity: Travel regularly to conduct on-site walk-throughs, safety assessments, and face-to-face closing meetings.
- Proven Safety Distribution Track Record: 5–7+ years of quota-crushing outbound enterprise sales experience specifically in PPE/ industrial safety distribution.
- True Self-Starter Autonomy: Deep domain fluency and supplier/manufacturer familiarity; you hit the ground running with zero ramp-up hand-holding.
- Rolodex & Hustle: Demonstrated track record of winning net-new logos, managing long B2B enterprise cycles, and maintaining high activity.
- Willingness to Travel: High energy and stamina for extensive regional and national travel.

Who's Hiring

Business Manager Jobs in Philadelphia: Frequently Asked Questions
How do I get a business manager job in Philadelphia?
Target Philadelphia's largest hiring sectors: health systems, universities, financial services firms, and professional services companies concentrated in Center City and University City. Candidates who can demonstrate P&L ownership, cross-functional team leadership, and experience working within complex organizations stand out here. Networking through local business associations and alumni networks tied to Drexel, Temple, or Penn also opens doors that job boards alone won't.
Which companies hire business managers in Philadelphia?
Companies currently hiring business managers in Philadelphia include Acosta, Baxter, and Bozzuto, per current listings on Migrate Mate as of September 2026. Philadelphia's hiring base is especially deep among large health systems, regional banks, insurance carriers, and higher education institutions, many of which maintain multiple business manager openings across departments at any given time.
Are there remote business manager jobs in Philadelphia?
Yes, though availability depends heavily on the role's function. Business managers overseeing facilities, clinical operations, or on-site teams are almost always in-person, while those focused on budgeting, reporting, or administrative operations are more likely to qualify for hybrid or remote arrangements. About 67% of business manager openings tied to Philadelphia are remote or hybrid as of September 2026, with the greatest flexibility in corporate and financial services roles.
How can I get a business manager job in Philadelphia with little or no experience?
The most realistic entry path in Philadelphia is through coordinator or operations associate roles at health systems like Jefferson Health or Penn Medicine, both of which hire extensively and promote from within. University administrative departments and large nonprofits in the city also bring in candidates at the assistant manager level. Emphasizing budget exposure, project ownership, and any experience coordinating teams gives early-career candidates a concrete edge over those relying on credentials alone.
