Important Work Environment Requirement

Please note: This is NOT a 100% office-based position.

While much of this role involves computer work and coordination from our warehouse office, you will regularly need to enter our freezer warehouse, where temperatures are approximately 0°F (-18°C), as well as cooler areas.

This may include checking products, performing inventory counts, and assisting with receiving and shipping activities.

Candidates must be comfortable working in a freezer/cold-storage environment as part of their regular job responsibilities.

Job Overview

We are a seafood distribution company looking for a reliable and detail-oriented Warehouse Operations Coordinator to support our daily warehouse operations.

This position combines warehouse office work, inventory control, and daily operations coordination. You will work with drivers and warehouse staff to help ensure products are received, recorded, stored, and shipped accurately.

We are looking for someone who is organized, comfortable using computers, attentive to detail, and able to learn new systems and procedures quickly.

Previous warehouse or logistics experience is preferred but not required. Training will be provided for candidates with strong computer, communication, and organizational skills.

Key Responsibilities

• Coordinate daily receiving and shipping with drivers and warehouse staff
• Verify products, quantities, and receiving/shipping documents for accuracy
• Process warehouse and inventory transactions using our Warehouse Management System (WMS) and basic computer applications
• Perform inventory counts and assist with identifying and resolving inventory discrepancies
• Maintain accurate and organized warehouse and inventory records
• Regularly enter freezer and cooler areas to verify products, count inventory, and support receiving/shipping activities

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; college education preferred
• Bilingual Spanish and English required
• Basic proficiency with Microsoft Excel, email, PDF files, and general computer applications
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Good organizational and communication skills
• Comfortable working with numbers, inventory records, and shipping/receiving documents
• Ability to learn new software, systems, and procedures quickly
• Able to work independently and follow through on assigned tasks
• Must be willing and able to regularly enter and work in freezer temperatures around 0°F (-18°C)
• Previous warehouse, logistics, inventory, receiving, shipping, data entry, or office experience is preferred
• Experience with WMS, ERP, PDA/RF scanners, or inventory systems is a plus
