We're a team that thrives on solving complex problems with innovative solutions that advance our mission. Checkr is recognized on Forbes Cloud 100 2025 List and is a Y Combinator 2024 Breakthrough Company.
About the team/role
As a member of the Revenue Operations team, you will combine hands-on technical build skills with deep GTM domain knowledge to design the automations and agentic workflows that help our Sales teams move faster and convert more efficiently. You will operate with high agency, empowered with best of breed AI-technology, embedded day-to-day with the revenue teams you support. You are the bridge between their business context and the automated solution: they bring the process knowledge and the friction points, you bring the build, turning ideas into a production-ready solution.
Responsibilities:
- Ship Solutions for the Field: Deliver agentic support for the sales organization, managing agents to generate pipeline, do deep account research, and close more deals.
- Run AI-Based Experimentation: Lead structured experiments across our GTM tooling and emerging AI vendors, translating results into clear, actionable recommendations that refine how we prospect, route, and convert.
- Architect for Scale, Not Just Speed: Partner with CorpEng on technically complex builds, bringing GTM context and business requirements while leaning on their infrastructure and architectural expertise to deliver solutions that hold up at scale.
- Advise the Citizen Builders: Act as a trusted advisor to teammates across the GTM org who are already building their own agents and automations, helping mature those solutions into governed, production-ready capabilities.
- Guard Cost, Performance, and Trust: Ensure every workflow you ship has the right guardrails around cost, performance, and data handling, so what you build keeps delivering value without runaway overhead or compliance risk.
- Translate Between Technical and Business Teams: Act as the key liaison between technical and business stakeholders, communicating complex ideas in plain language and turning ambiguous requirements into actionable technical deliverables.
What you bring:
Technical Skills
- 3+ years building and deploying automations or AI-powered workflows in a production environment, with hands-on experience across Salesforce and the broader revenue tool stack.
- Proficiency across GTM systems: CRM (Salesforce & Hubspot), sales engagement platforms (Clay), marketing automation, data enrichment, and routing tools (Lean Data).
- Working knowledge of LLMs, prompt engineering, and agent design applied to real revenue workflow problems.
- Comfort with SQL and at least one scripting language (Python or JavaScript) to build, troubleshoot, and iterate on workflows without waiting on engineering for every change.
- Familiarity with data warehouses, BI tools, or event-driven systems is a plus.
Business and Domain Acumen
- Familiarity with Marketing and Sales processes and metrics, and how campaign data, intent signals, and lead flow connect to pipeline outcomes.
- Commercial bias: you evaluate every workflow against the revenue outcome it was designed to drive, not just whether it runs cleanly.
- Curiosity and an experimental mindset: you approach GTM problems like a detective, testing hypotheses and iterating on what the data shows.
- Proven ability to bridge communication between business stakeholders and technical teams, translating requirements into deliverables that meet organizational goals.
- An A-player mindset with a strong bias for action: you raise the bar, move with urgency, stay resilient through ambiguity, and take ownership to deliver meaningful outcome.
Preferred Experience
- Background in business systems analysis, Salesforce administration, marketing/revenue operations, or a technical role embedded within a sales or marketing organization.
- Prior experience building agentic or LLM-powered workflows in a B2B environment.
- Hands-on experience with modern GTM automation and enrichment platforms (e.g., Clay, Gong, Outreach, Snowflake, Hightouch, SQL) is a strong plus.
What We Offer
- A fast-paced and collaborative environment
- Learning and development allowance
- Competitive cash and equity compensation, and opportunity for advancement
- 100% medical, dental, and vision coverage
- Up to $25K reimbursement for fertility, adoption, and parental planning services

Candidates who can bridge technical requirements gathering with stakeholder communication stand out here. Familiarity with Agile delivery, SQL, and cloud-based ERP or CRM platforms is consistently valued by San Francisco hiring teams across those sectors.
Which companies hire business systems analysts in San Francisco?
San Francisco business systems analyst roles are posted by Ramp, Anthropic, and Pinterest and others right now, based on current listings on Migrate Mate as of September 2026. The city's hiring base skews heavily toward technology platforms, financial services firms, and large healthcare systems, all of which maintain dedicated business systems teams.
Are there remote business systems analyst jobs in San Francisco?

About 71% of business systems analyst openings tied to San Francisco are remote or hybrid as of September 2026, reflecting the city's tech-forward employer culture. Requirements-gathering and reporting work tend to be the most remote-friendly functions among San Francisco postings.
How can I get a business systems analyst job in San Francisco with little or no experience?
The most realistic entry path in San Francisco is moving laterally from a junior operations, data analyst, or QA role inside a mid-size tech or fintech company, where exposure to systems projects is built in. San Francisco startups in SoMa frequently hire associate or junior analyst titles that serve as direct feeders. Building fluency in tools like JIRA, Confluence, or Salesforce and completing a process-improvement project you can demonstrate gives you a concrete edge with local hiring managers.
