Position Summary

The Enterprise Architecture and Data and Analytics (EADA) department is a centralized, multi-disciplinary team at Nestlé Purina Pet Care driving the company's data and analytics evolution. As a Sr Business Analyst, you’ll work on our product and pricing data product team, working cross-functionally across multiple internal teams to deliver foundational data products that drive the business forward. This role serves as the liaison between business and technical teams, keeping both sides aligned and moving forward.
- Translate business requirements into user stories for the data engineering team to build quality data product features
- Support the Product Owner with the creation, prioritization, and maintenance of user stories and backlog items for the product and pricing data product team
- Lead discovery conversations with business stakeholders to uncover strategic objectives, operational pain points, and opportunities for new data product features
- Own data validation and usability testing prior to launch, ensuring data products meet quality standards and business expectations
- Join agile team ceremonies (stand-ups, refinement, sprint planning, retros) and collaborate cross-functionally to deliver high quality data products that support enterprise digital transformation initiatives
- Communicate progress, findings, and recommendations to business stakeholders, keeping both technical and business sides aligned throughout the product lifecycle
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
- 5+ years of experience in business or data analysis, partnering closely with both technical and business stakeholders to deliver results
Other
- Experience with business analysis techniques such as process mapping or data modeling is preferred
- Experience working in an Agile or Microsoft Dev Ops environment is preferred
The approximate pay range for this position is $80,000 to $120,000. Please note that the pay range provided is a good faith estimate for the position at the time of posting. Final compensation may vary based on factors including but not limited to knowledge, skills and abilities as well as geographic location.
